A unique heritage lodge built in 1930, and recently renovated to become one of New Zealand’s premier boutique lodges. Set on 5,500 hectares of privately owned land, encompassing some of the oldest Podocarp rain forest in the world, Lake Brunner Lodge is a classic wilderness retreat, and offers guests luxurious accommodation amidst breathtaking scenery. Meals at the lodge are of an equally high standard, with the focus being on local produce, including wild venison, the obligatory New Zealand lamb, and fresh seafood from the rich waters of the west coast. Exploring the Lake Brunner area itself is a daunting task, simple because of the sheer number of attractions in the immediate area, from world-class trout fishing, to helicopter rides or guided bush-walks, and the friendly, well-informed staff are always on hand to offer local knowledge, and suggested tours, and expert advice.

Tim W. Couples New Zealand, April 10, 2013	Beautiful hotel with a million dollar view. Staff, Views & comfort 9.3 Forget bad reviews in the past, this Apartment type hotel is brilliant. Unbelievable views over Lake Brunner & the mountains. Cosy rooms with good cooking facilities. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

Couples Thailand, February 12, 2012	New hotel but locate away from towncentre Good lake view 4.7 the hotel locate quite far away from town which was not that i expected. the room look clean but not provide all facilities needed. no telephone provide in the room and the one at the hotel receiption was out of service. i cannot find any place nearby to access to the internet which i need to check for my flight and have to drive half an hour to the town centre to find place.
