A little out of town

We were there for the busiest time of the year - New Years eve - so the 3Km out-of-town venue suited us. We are keen food and wine buffs so Mackenzies Restaurant came as a pleasant surprise. Despite eating at the late sitting (9.30pm) the food was excellent and the staff still cheery and efficient. Our room was at the back of the Hotel but still had good views of lake and mountain.

Restaurant Tip : Make sure to book. If ordering the cheese plate make sure the cheese is at room temp - not straight from the fridge.
