Location depends on your purpose
To some, it may be a great location. For others like me, the location is isolated without anything to do nearby. There are watertaxis (chargeable), shuttles (free), etc... but there isn't a pick-up shuttle to/from the airport, so just getting to the hotel using taxi costs USD 20, getting out was cheaper around USD 10. The food is great... just that there was a 15% public holiday surcharge not made known to me upfront. The room was great overall, just that the desk chair... you could easily fall off the chair if not careful... its a design issue. Overall good/great...

Quiet location for relaxation
If you prefer something far away from town, this is your choice. 20 minutes drive to town. The room is very nice, bathroom floor is heated. The room is spacious. Lovely hotel.

Far from town, need to get a boat or taxi. Rooms are big and clean but dark and private pool in an open area. Small fire place. Its a corporate type of hotel. Highlights are exceptional grill and great staff. Value for money is questionable.

Wonderful stay in Queenstown
Room is well appointed and clean. Hotel staff is very helpful, in particular, front desk Sadia and the waitress at Wakatipu Grill, Margaux, who made our stay at the Hilton a pleasure. The food at Wakatipu Grill is first class!

Out of town Hilton
Bed very compy, lovely room , but do not like the BLACK interior/ decor .
Did not like the location. Too far from town,shopping and restaurants and cafes etc.

Beautiful room a few steps from the lake
The room was great. Lacking is the warmth of the staff as they seem to be quite uncaring. This includes all staff across the establishments in the hotel complex except for the lady bartender who was amazing. I think charging this much for a room (even one with a jacuzzi) was not value for money and as a Hilton could've done more for it's guests.
