Fantastic hotel with reasonable size room, 1 queen bed, kitchenette, TV and balcony. Suitable for Couple & Family with young children. Recommended for traveller on romantic holidays, fun & relaxation.

Great value for money hotel

The mecure was a short distance from town but wasn't an issue for us as we had a car. There was a bus service running from the front door fairy often anyway.
Room was good size with a comfortable king size bed and good pillows.
The views from the lakeview rooms were amazing as were the rooms from the restaurant.
The service was great, all the staff were nice and welcoming.
The price for our room made this great value for money.

Great location with a great view

the hotel was decent, with great conveniences such as the city bus drop off points are in front of the hotel and its also within walking distance to queenstown. the room was clean, roomy and cozy. however, we did have trouble reaching the housekeeping lines after 5pm which is a slight hiccup as you will spend most of the daytime being outside and only returning to the hotel at night. by which, if one needs any housekeeping assistance it would have been too late. we resorted to contacting the reception desk who said they were gonna return our call but no one came (we needed our kettle to be changed as the heating element was rusty). it was only when we reached the manager that we got our kettle changed.

Beautiful Views, great service

The view is amazing! Staff were very nice. Room was nice and warm. Bathroom was a little small but thats the only thing i can fault. Really enjoyable stay! Great mulled wine at the bar too!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Hotel is a bit of a trek uphill but there is a bus that comes right to the door and has discounted rate for hotel guests amazing! Only a 10 min beautiful walk to town otherwise!

The hotel is located a bit far from the town centre unlike other hotels. Having your own car would probably have been convenient but since we didn't, we had to rely on the shuttle bus which runs every 20mins (i think!) from the hotel to the town centre & vice versa.
But overall, the hotel is a good place to stay. The rooms are well cleaned & the reception was helpful enough.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel in the adventure capital of New Zealand.
The scenery is just fantastic; the staff was very friendly and helpful and arranged for tours, airport shuttles etc..
Recommended !
Restaurant Tip:
Try the French restaurant "Les Alpes" downtown for an excellent French breakfast with homemade pastries and baguette !

The room was comfortable. Staffs were polite and helpful. Generally a good stay. However, the location of the hotel is slightly far away from the town center. Not very convenient for travelers without a car.

We booked a garden room but as we were staying for 5nights got upgraded to a lake view room. The view was incredible, full uninterrupted views of the lakes and mountains. The room was very big with two double beds and was very comfortable. The hotel was very clean and comfortable with friendly staff.
The hotel is 15 minutes walk from the center but the bus will collect you at the door and drop you down for a nominal fee. These buses was very frequent. We however did walk and found the walk manageable and very scenic.
All in all we had a wonderful stay and would Definately stay here again.
