The Millbrook Resort blends premium cottage like architecture with a stunning location. It has a great location in particular to the fact that it is close to Queenstown's famous ski fields. Staff wonderful.
Accommodation brilliant.
Room service barely adequate.
We had a wonderful stay, in spite of mixed weather. We just grabbed gaps in the weather & got out there. The staff were excellent & everyone we spoke to tried really hard to be helpful & ensure we had a good time. The priority was always us enjoying our selves, rather than just pushing the resort products. The golf pro showed real character in making an hour for teaching a non-golfing family in the lunch break of a busy tournament. Nearly everything was better than average for hotels of this character. The only less than thrilling thing was the room service. We like to keep our teenage children active during the day (and Milbrook is great for that), and then blob out in the evenings. The dine-in food was first class, but the room service was badly under resourced, with a limited menu & (some at any rate) poorer meals. The guys working there were just as helpful & tried just as hard as everyone else.

A wonderful place to visit for total relaxation and replenishing of the soul.
Restaurant Tip : Saffron Restaurant in Arrowtown is wonderful only 10 minutes from resort. Arrowtown is a gorgeous old settlement well worth visiting
