Really great location, nice decor, very nice staff.
Very expensive room internet..should be free...low ceilings which is weird for a 6'3" person. Breakfast not included even witht he top priced rooms.
We always book rooms with breakfast included. It really annoyed me that a. this expensive hotel didn't include breakfast in the room rate b. they charged us $23 for a continental breakfast (I had one coffee and two bowls of cornflakes) and they would budge on this.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You must make a visit to Milford Sound, it's gorgeous. So many things to do and see here in this beautiful, beautiful area.

Great location
Room was dimly lit at night.
Restaurant can get noisy as it is located above lobby
Very quiet and clean room. Loved the location within an easy walk to restaurants, shops, the lake and casino. Hotel restaurant menu was limited. There were two hotel computers in the lobby which guests could use for free 20 minute internet sessions. Valet parking was convenient for a small fee and the staff were very helpful.
Restaurant Tip : Must try the fish and chips from the yellow and black kiosk next to the lake whilst taking in the scenery.

excellent service,

clean and modern.
We had a fantastic 6 nights at the Novotel Queenstown./ The location is excellent, right on the lakeside, with nice views from the balcony. We got upgraded to a deluxe room on floor 4 which was superb. Very large, clean, modern and tastefully decorated with a huge bed and separate seating area. The staff are very friendly, very helpful and efficient. I would stay again in an instant - not a single complaint!
