Fabulous Views, Incredible Apartment
Huge deck, massive lounge, beautifully appointed
9.3
Could not believe the quality of this apartment. Really beautifully appointed with everything you might need for a week, let alone one night. We were travelling with adult couple and happily shared the two bedroom apartment, which had a gloriously large sitting room, TV, and best of all a massive deck/balcony with views to die for over the lake. No road between you and the water. Washing machine, dryer, big kitchen too.

Good location with great view + wonderful rooms
Great lake view with mountains. You can enjoy the sunshine in the daytime and stars at night
9.7
Very wonderful. The reception staff are so nice, and the location of the hotel is great too. The hotel is around 15minute-drive far from the downtown of Queenstown. At night , the balcony is a very good place to enjoy the stars. At daytime, you can enjoy the great view of the Lake Wakatipu and mountains.
Restaurant Tip:
Prime restaurant by the Wakatipu Lake on the whalf is so wonderful. The steak is amazing.

Fantastic room with a great view
Nice and quiet, close to queenstown

Great room and nice big kitchen. It was only a short distance to the centre of Queenstown. It also had an amazing view looking over the mountains and lake.

Great location and a comfortable stay
Views of the Remarkables ranges

It was unseasonably warm and windows did not open sufficiently to provide adequate ventilation
Travel tip:
Be aware that unserviced means they don't change towels for the duration so if staying several days this becomes less desirable.

The room is very clean, spacious and modern. It is equipped with cooking utensils for those who are keen to cook their own meals. The room also has washing machine and dryer. It offers great views as it overlooks Lake Wakatipu. The bedroom comes with a queen sized bed, which I found was quite comfortable. It is quite far to walk to city centre but if you have a car, the distance is not really an issue.

Beautiful well appointed rooms with good views
The apartments are great, private and well appointed, with good views of the lake
9.3
Our stay at the Oaks Shores Hotel in Queenstown was in a 1 Bedroom apartment. The apartment were spacious and well appointed with all the amenities anyone would need.
The location was quiet and pleasant and each apartment has great views of the lake.
Although there was a slight mix up with our confirmed booking, the front desk staff resolved the issue promptly and efficiently with a friendly and helpful attitude. They were always extremely courteous and helpful during our stay, including confirming tours we had already booked
I can highly recommend this Hotel

Nice deluxe rooms
clean, modern, good views
10
We stayed at the 2-bedroom lakeview suite for the first 2 nights, and moved to a smaller double room. The room was just as good as the lakeview suites. Clean, modern, well thought off. Although they mentioned "no-lakeview" in their description, we actually could still see the lake from our side windows.
However, 2 "cons" about our room 901A. The in-room heater wasn't working (but it was summer and we were fine with that) & our room was the closest to the walking hallway to the reception, so we could hear the constant opening and shutting of doors. (We really didn't notice probably due to our exhaustion of our trip & we just slept through it)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a stroll along the lake, it's a nice leisurely walk...
