This hotel is set on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, a body of water known for its purity. Nearby are also many restaurants, bars, and shops where guests can while the night and day away. The units here come in hotel room size in addition to one, two, and three bedroom apartments. All units are modernly and elegantly furnished and feature views of the water and the Southern Alps. A golf course and tennis courts are located nearby.��

a lovely property with a perfect position, and excellent staff. For a small surcharge we upgraded 2 bedrooms into a lovely, spacious apartment with two en-suite bathrooms, kitchen, balcony and full laundry and cooking facilities.
two major faults that really bothered us.
the first is that both bedrooms in our apartment were smallish and neither had a window to look out of. the second bedroom also had no TV.
the second fault was far more irritating. the tv program at this hotel was unbelievably inadequate. the hotel is in a 4-5 star group that caters to the sophisticated, demanding local and overseas traveller, and it would not be unreasonable to expect a good choice of channels.
instead the tv choice was appalling - unless you are a sports-fanatic. all we got was sports, sports and sports. no CNN, no BBC, no decent choice of real news or business channels.
this was the only item that would stop us from rebooking.
Restaurant Tip : take a bus daytrip to milford sound. - dont drive --too tiring.
great steakhouse is Botswana Butchery.
