Fast service.
Very knowledgeable staff.
Great view (located in front of Lake Wakatipu).
Location is relatively a bit far from main attraction (i.e., downtown).
Some furniture are old
Rydges Lakeland Resort offers great view of Lake Wakatipu. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Service is fast. Spacious parking space. However, the location is a bit far from downtown. In addition, some of furnitures/equipments are old. Nevertheless, we enjoy our stay there, and would recommend others to stay there as well.

We got complimentary upgrade and stayed in the room facing the lake.
It was clean and cozy. It was also close to the center of the town and fun and relaxing to see the beautiful scenery of the lake.
Restaurant Tip : This hotel is really convenient to walk to the center of the town. I didn't go to the restaurant in the hotel but there was a good Italian restaurant called Fazcat in Sofitel. It will be a good choice to order Queenstown specail pizza there.

The view is excellent that I can see the lake view!
The view of the room is excellent! The lake is beautiful. I can sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee to enjoy the view. About the location of the hotel, although it is not in the city and need about 5-10 mins walk. I don't mind to walk the lakeside to enjoy the view.
