Hotel has great position, near restaurants!!
It's not what you would call luxury, but it is clean and comfortable, very good value for money. We have stayed in quite a few Ibis chain hotels now, in N.Z and abroad and have never been disappointed! Did not try food but that's because it is so close to the town and shops.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Very nice spar just down the road!!

New Hotel (looks new), easy access (no traffic jam, free parking at the hotel and around the hotel off the street.
I have confidence in the IBIS hotel chain, IBIS Rotorua is no exception. Staff are friendly and very helpful, the room designs and layout are provide space for movement around the room, the rooms are clean and tidy, the bathroom did not leak, congratulations!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Must visit for first timer: the Lady knox geyser at Wai-o-tapu

most friendly personal, clean and friendly room, good place with car parking.
The hotel is located on a very good place, if you don't want to drive into the city. It's very closed to the sea and city center (only a short walk). Personal is friendly, and the rooms are clean and quite big. A car parking possibility is also available. For me it was good place to stay.

Located close to all the restaurants and parks.
we were not welcomed in a nice way.\nif you are a couple ask for a room with queen or king bed configuration, so that you will have more space.\nif you are requesting any lake view, double check it well ahead before you check in.\nplease dont waste money on the in house restaurant.
Restaurant Tip : Walking distance to lots of good restaurants.

Much better value for money in the country compared to motels which sell at NZD 90-120 per night per room, with much smaller - sometimes even claustrophobic rooms, rare Internet access, fewer facilities and very little staff service available.

Since the show was nearly Maori was useful.
CD ROM was broken VENDA data transfer.
I used every night of the long drive, it is a good location. Close to the lake, and a small cafe next to the lake was good.
