Restaurant stayed open at dinner which was convenient as we couldn't get a late meal (9.30pm) in Wanaka.
Very nice room with good heating and a balcony with district views.
Had two basins in the bathroom but there was no bench space for toiletries.
Townhouse style accommodation where you had to walk up stairs with luggage to your room.
Difficult to find as it is located out of Wanaka.
Friendly and helpful staff particularly the restaurant staff. This hotel is more of a resort style complex with rooms spread out throughout the resort. As a resort, it caters for conferences so large groups can be using the facilities at any one time thus limiting your use of certain areas. Not walking distance to the town centre as it is a few minutes drive out of town.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you are travelling to Queenstown from Wanaka, be sure to stop at the historical Cadrona Pub and try the apple pie.

This place has a great gym and a great pool. It has a really nice restaraunt and bar that serve great meals at a price equivalent to eating in Wanaka township. It was very clean and the service friendly. The change rooms around the pool were excellent.
Its 8km from Wanaka so I'd not recommend it to anyone without a car. You cant see the lake from here and theres no shuttle to take you into Wanaka. The pool is open to the public all day so really its not exactly a relaxing peaceful setting to lie about the pool.
This was value for money but really not suited to a backpacker type. You need a car. The rooms have a small balcony but theres no view of the lake - at least there wasn't from my room. If you stay, eat at the restaraunt as it serves moderately priced yummy food. The rooms are very clean but quite simple really. In the basic room theres no DVD player - bummer coz I brought DVDs with me.
