Great location, hotel and rooms
Locations, just accross TePapa, wiev from my room was gorgeous.
8.3
this was very pleasant stay. the restaurant is very nice, i had dinner on my first night and it was delicious and good value. the room was spacious with very comfy bed.
as i was on a bussines trip, i had to work few hours each day. the large glass top desk could be moved around, i got it in front of the window overlooking the harbour.
i would definitely stay there again.
Nightlife Tip:
Wellington's entertainment area is just around the corner, with dozens of restauranst and bars within 10 min walk.

The location of it is great. But I m not sure it worth a five stars ranking. The room was not spacious, and it's full of swimming pool's smell. the staffs are friendly, but I think they should carry a bit more of smile.
Nightlife Tip:
Very close to the night clubs area

Spend 3 nights in Amora Wellington, towards the last leg of our two-week vacation. Both reception and concierge staff were most courteous and helpful. A truly delightful place for leisure, pleasure as well as business. Will return as soon as possible.
Restaurant Tip:
Lone Star Restaurant on 66 Tory Street - just 5 mins walk from hotel serves the best ribs, loaf and garlic shrimp rice. Had dinner there 3 nights in a row. Tyson - the boss - he's the best host ever!

Size of room, location and bed

Had a great stay in suite room. Very large comfortable room. Had everything with great condiments and a super king bed. Really handy to town, no need to catch a taxi from down town. Had a lovely breakfast. Great value for money, definitely stay again!

Good location with nice rooms.
6.3
nice spacious room with touches of luxury. hotel facilities and services were good but a little dated and sometimes impersonal. dining options were limited and expensive. for the money i would expect a little more in the way of extras such as a pool, gym, better dining options etc.
