Easy walk to food and shopping Easy walk to restaraunts and theartre, must try a little cafe called Two Souls, it has local produce, relaxed atmoisphere and reasonable priced, it's about three blocks way. Close to the waterfront and mesueum as well. All the staff were very friendly and rooms really clean and spacious.

Very convenient location vis-a-vis the University where the events we were attending were located.
Kitchenette was nice, as were the furnishings, linens, and such. Reasonably priced. We filled out an extensive comment form & left it at the hotel. Not fond of the shower door (or half of one). The indoor pool temperature was not very warm. We were appalled that internet service was not free. For guests that are going to stay for a week (or anything over 5 days), I would think free Internet service would be a given. Really for ALL guests, if you want to compete with other hotels/motels/places of accommodations. Another note: the floor level in the bathroom was a bit lower than the hall, which has a rug on it. This caused pretty severe pain to my bare foot when I stepped on the ridge, with half of it on each part, and it also seems to me to be a safety issue, because the ridge could trip a person. I believe there was also a charge for local phone calls, which is unreasonable. A free continental breakfast would also have been nice
But we were comfortable & the staff were very helpful & prompt when we needed help with: items (e.g., clothes hangers), directions, etc.
Hotel Feature Tip : At the pool, they provide towels and even free, discard slippers.
Since you get no free internet nor a breakfast in the hotel, consider using the coffee shop next door, if you have a laptop with wireless capability, which gives you an hour of service for any purchase.

Beautifully decorated rooms, friendly staff, good choice of movies on demand The gym is the size of a closet. The Holiday Inn in Wellington is a very nice hotel with a friendly staff. The rooms are decorated beautifully and more like a home than a hotel. There is a very nice pool and jacuzzi, but the gym is incredibly small. The hotel is very clean and hip and an easy walk to the main attractions.
Restaurant Tip : Harem is a very good turkish restaurant in the hip part of town.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Very central location for an easy walk to the Parliament, Te Papa Museum, Cuba street shopping, Botanical Gardens, cable-car, etc.

Good location, elegant rooms. Transparent wall in the bathroom. Hotel is located very well, almost in the center of the city. Rooms are furnished with a stylish, soft and comfortable bed. Hotel staff friendly and willing to help. As a disadvantage can be voprinyat only with transparenttenu in the bathtub and toilet (Superior room). When it is necessary to use the toilet, the contours of rights is quite clearly visible, it can embarrass. But the hotel we liked. The second time we have stayed there.
