Would definitely stay again. We found the facilities better than at some Ibis hotels in Europe.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Papa Museum is well worth a visit and particularly good for young kids with lots of interactive sites and play areas. Nearby Cuba Street is great for cafes and shopping.

This is very much a business hotel, we wouldn't have wanted to spend more than one night there.

Large bedroom, everything very clean, restaurant and bar good, excellent location.
No dressing table type unit with a mirror other than bathroom. No unit with drawers only hanging space and limited shelf space, obvious not a female friendly environment.
I would stay at Hotel Ibis again if in Wellington, or any of the other hotels in this chain because of location, cleanliness, helpful staff and price. For tourists many attractions are situated within walking distance and if not the very helpful staff gave information about public transport to and from locations.
I stayed for three days and found it was always the same soup and roast which could have been changed daily to add a bit of variety but the buffet breakfast was very good. Wine selections very good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Visit to Karori Wildlife Sanctuary well worth while as well as Te Papa museum
