With magnificent, undisrupted views over Mercury Bay, Oceanside Motel combines a spectacular setting with modern comfort.

Situated on the beach front, on the edge of the town of Whitianga, the apartments are within walking distance of neighborhood restaurants and shopping. There�s plenty to do and see in the area � from walking, deep sea fishing and horse riding through to a simple round of golf - while local attractions such as Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach are a short drive away,. There are just 12 self contained apartments and suites, three of which are on the waterfront.

All have private balconies or patios and are comfortably furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities and satellite TVs.

We loved it here. The view more than makes up for any deficiencies in the accommodation.

Restaurant Tip : 5 minutes walk along the seafront is the 'Fireplace' restaurant where we had 2 superb meals, the best food we ate in New Zealand.
