We had a really good stay at the Holiday Inn. We loved the food, the service and the Happy Hour at the Pool Bar. Some renovations are still to be done(floor tiles,cupboards, tennis court)

Fantastic Staff, Beautiful Scenery

holiday inn is in an ideal location, only a short walk (10-15mins) to port vila. the outlook is lovely, overlooking the lagoon, and the beach and pools are all good. there are plenty of watersports available on site. the staff are friendly and helpful in a very relaxed, layback way. the rooms have obviously been renovated fairly recently and the amenities are good. note the restaurant is well geared up for "gluten free" needs. this is a great resort if you have a young family. however, because of this, there are lots of children running around, and noise to go with it. if you want just peace and quiet, i wouldn't recommend this place, unless you can get into one of the "overwater" rooms, located on the adjoining "private island". even then, you will be surrounded by kids at the swimming pools and restaurant. another tip...get a room-rate that includes breakfast; otherwise it will be very expensive, and there isn't much available in port vila.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Cascade Falls are a must see, but make sure you wear footwear you are happy to get wet; you actually wade through water to get there.

I think the value for money is quite poor. everything costs extra.I had to rent a dvd player and movie for 20$ which I think is a rip off. There is no open sea access but a lagoon.The lagoon is very beautiful but not suitable to enter without reef shoes.The adult only pool is very small and kids are still playing there and the family friendly pool is overcrowded and no place to relax. The quality of the food is quite poor although i must praise them for catering for food allergies if you talk to a chef personally. the staff doesn't understand enough to deal with such things.
Overall I would say that the hotel is not suitable for business travellers on their own because there is nothing to do after dinner.

very nice staff, nice views, free usage of kayaks, sailboats etc.

hotel was great, however, we were a bit disapointed with the size of our room (garden room) and the fact that there was no balcony. otherwise great place to stay.

Very comfortable hotel in very nice grounds with kayaks and golf available. It’s a little way out of Port Villa but there are plenty of taxis and buses available.

Hotel trés agréable
L'extérieur avec piscine et terrain de golf et son pont suspendu

L'hotel est trés propre et le personnel trés souriant
En ce moment il y a des travaux de rénovation ( une deuxieme piscine en construction ) mais nous avons profité de celle qui y a en ce moment avec son jardin exotique et pour les amateurs de golf un parcours de 9 trous ou plus ?????

agréable séjour, grande chambre. les sanitaires fonctionnent mais sont de conception ancienne. hôtel propre, agréable et environnement superbe : beau parc, lagon superbe, belles essences d'arbres, personnel compétent, aimable, serviable. cet hôtel est particulièrement bien situé.
