A very nice getaway!
Shops and taxis easily available, Beach is about 600m walking distance away. Staffs are very friendly. English is not an issue with them. Will be back again!

Little bit of luxury
Very nice relaxing hotel. Environmentally friendly with designated smoking areas. Great pool area although the water was very warm and not cooling. Room was excellent and staff very friendly

Pakasai Resort
Our stay was enjoyable but could have been better, we struggled to park at the hotel due to a very small parking area, our room was a suite which looked massive in the photos to how it really was, in our room we had a free mini bar which was missing until we remind staff at reception, they had it filled up while we were out and when we returned we found it consisted of 2x Coke Cola and 2x Sprite and nothing else, we were a little disappointed by this. The outdoor bath/patio area is great in thought but in reality it is just an area that is full of mosquitos, I tried to use the bath but after 6 or so bites I gave up....... Location is ok but you need to walk 5 minutes to get anywhere lively, the swimming pool is large but only about 60 centimetres deep so it's not really any good for swimming and feels like your getting into a hot bath as its in the constant sun. Staff were very friendly, we booked via Agoda for 3358baht, it was average for value for money.

Excellent stay. Inconsistent wifi.
Excellent place to stay. Very convenient. 7-11 right across the road. Laundry right across the road. Street stalls with pretty decent and very cheap food right just around the corner. Short stroll to the main beach road. Excellent attitude from staff. Very prompt response through emails helped us arrange a private shuttle from Phuket airport to the hotel at 10pm. The drive was over 2.5 hours. It was more expensive than a normal taxi, but it could have easily fit 6-8 people. Also helped us book a tour upon request. Excellent pool. Free beach and pool towels which we took to our scuba diving course and tours each day. Small gym, wasn't fantastic, but we were too busy with the rest of Ao Nang to notice. Breakfast was pretty great. Varied curries and fish/chicken each day - which I thought was actually better than the restaurants we went to at night. Western breakfast with cereals and croissants and eggs also available. On the first few days of our stay, there were numerous bees on the maple syrup/honey. I'm not sure if this was to add to the charm of the place, but it freaked my wife out. :) they no longer put the honey out thereafter, and only provided it on request. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Clean sheets. Always a good night sleep! My only real complaint is that the wifi was pretty erratic and inconsistent. You'd have excellent signal throughout the time, but the internet still wouldn't work. It was one of those login with username/password setups. And I constantly had to re-establish wifi, and re-input the passwords to get it working. When it worked well, the signal was excellent. However, often, even though it was connected, the Internet was painfully slow. I also found this to be the case in another hotel in phuket, and this may simply be the case in this part of the world. Overall, a fantastic place to stay. Would recommend it in a heart beat.
