Boutique Hotel with Great Service

Friendly and helpful staff, love the quiet location, Beach Villa is cosy and private with DVD player and bathtub
Overall we enjoyed a relaxing stay and the staff service was great. It's a boutique resort with simple facilities such as a pool and massage service. There's no gym and restaurant space was quite small. We feel 4-stars is overrated. 3.6 stars seems more accurate. Other points for improvement is that the buffet breakfast can use more variety of food. The location @ Lamai is good, as Palm Coco is situated in between the high-end Renaissance Hotel and Silvadee Resort. There's a good restaurant within 5 min walk (Rostiland serving Swiss and Thai food). To get to the main back of Lamai and Lamai Sunday night market, is a quick 10-15min taxi ride (200 Bath).

Great view throughout the hotel

View, villa room, kayaking
It was great overall. Take the villa, as it has a great view and spacious. Do not take the garden view rooms at the corner, its tiny and interconnected with another room through a corridor so you hear every noise from your neighbors.

Paradise Hideaway

Staff, view, quietness
This little boutique resort is right on a hill by a calm cove. The view is priceless. We stayed in a villa which had view of the sea and the pool. Since it's in the quiet part of Lamai, there is no music or noise at night. On the other hand, if you are looking for night life, this is the wrong place for you. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the main street where there is a convenient store, pharmacy, and fruit stands. The water is very calm and shallow, which makes it very pleasant to walk but not swim. The chairs by the pool seem to be all taken very early so secure your spot early. The staff were very friendly and kind, always with a smile on their faces. I got sick and they helped to book a taxi and explained to the taxi driver to take me to the clinic. Be warned that this resort is on a hill so you need to take many stairs if your room is in a villa (which we liked because it's stand alone) or to go to the pool or beach. This is an older resort. You cannot flush the toilet paper and need to put them in a bin. When there is no wind, there are many flies. The restaurant is open air. As much as they take the effort to cover the food during breakfast, the utensils and plates are exposed. I started feeling ill the first night, after having lunch and dinner at the onsite restaurant. So if you have weak stomach, be prepared. If you are sick, don't go to the clinic. There is only one doctor there and she came two hours after clinic open time. Go to the hospital.

Fantastic Resort

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious and clean with amazing views. The pool is right next to the beach which was clean and quiet
Amazing. Excellent value for money. The location was great as was on a beautiful part of the beach with great hotels nearby. The staff were great and the pool was perfect. The only negative was it took along time to get your food but that is pretty common in Thailand! Would deinately recommend for others to stay here.

物美價廉Worth every penny

I'm very happy that I chose this hotel to stay for the whole trip.I have to say staffs at the hotel are all amazingly nice and warm. The sea view of the room is as breathtaking as heaven that I've never seen!Clean water at the beach and swimming pool as well.Traditional Thai or western breakfast every morning. And no need to worry about transportation,it's 15 to 20 mins scooter ride to downtown. It's cheap(200bah) to rent a motor bike per day!If you're looking forward to a relaxing and casual trip, this is the best place for you!

View is Fantastic

View, Staff, Location
Sea view from hotel room is fantastic, staff were good especially Mr. Air(the best Hotel staff anywhere). Breakfast is good. Car Park in front of hotel is limited (only 3). Going into the room using stair(no lift). LCD TV and quite big room. Will come again.
