Palm Spa and Village - fab stay

Location close to Angkor Wat, able to cycle there. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool very nice!
To start the trip off they collected us for free from the airport which was fuss and faff free. The room was lovely and clean and air con included which was an added bonus as thought we'd only booked a room with a fan. Able to hire bikes for $3 per day to cycle to and around Angkor Wat. Staff helpful and able to book onward tickets to bangkok. Reasonable tuktuk prices into swim reap centre and picked up back up again at agreed time. Overall a great experience.

Nice and quiet, away from the city

location, comfort and service
My stay was a pleasant one. Although it was quite a distance from the city, they have tuk tuk services(chargeable) to bring you to town. The place is clean and quiet. Will recommend this place to people who are looking for a quiet place to stay in siem reap.

Repeat customer

Food, staff, quiet
This was my fourth time staying at Palm Village (my first was in 2005). It's friendly staff and management deliver consistently reliable service. The location may be a bit out of the way for some people, but I find it perfect. It is midway between the city centre and Angkor Wat - about 10-15 minutes by tuktuk to each. Factor about $6 per day into your budget to make a return trip into the city. But the upside is that the area is much quieter, and the on-site restaurant is terrific. You can relax here in between temple visits, but are never far from the bustle of Siem Reap. I highly recommend staying here.

OK - Good for a weekend

Drivers available at the hotel, location 15mn from Angkor Wat
Roughly good but i wasn't impressed with the comfort of the rooms (old feeling and lack of furniture in room and bathroom to provide space for your things) and cleaning overlooks the spider webs in the bathroom. Food at the outdoor restaurant has some good items. Swimming pool is ok but chairs are dirty. Good enough for a quick weekend, although i'm not sure i'd stay there again.

A hidden gem to base from to see all the sites!

Staff, location, and on-site restaurant.
Excellent! The hotel staff was wonderfully helpful and friendly. The restaurant has a wide variety of foods but prepares phenomenal khmer cusine! Location is pleasantly removed from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap city center, but can be easily accessed. Great hub to see all the local sites!

Quiet retreat with dirt roads

Quiet and cool setting due to the trees. Air con was great and the pool was refreshing
It was nice, room was a little dirty(old soap left and needed a wipe in the bathroom) the tuk tuk don't know where it is and is down a dirt road (wear facemasks) but otherwise was out of city $3 tuk tuk to get to pub street and is great for families and couples was relaxing Staff do forget to do things when asked just need to be reminded and asked for a towel 3 times. All 3 tyres up when only needed one Otherwise was nice

Staying in Villa Bosba, a traditional Khmer house; serene environment.
This was my second stay at Palm Village Resort & Spa. The first time, four years ago, we stayed in one of the regular chalets. This time, being a larger group, we stayed at Villa Bosba, a traditional Khmer house. This is not downtown, but located halfway between downtown and Angkor Wat. The Villa Bosba was much larger than I had anticipated and was great in terms of having space to enjoy being together as well as space to do your own thing. The balcony was HUGE (four comfy papassan chairs and a table at one end and then a low table at the other end), a central room (again with a coffee table and chairs), two bedrooms, kitchen/dining room, and bathroom. AC worked well. WIFI available :) Palm Village Resort & Spa also has massages and, more recently, added yoga in the afternoons a few times a week. They also can arrange tuk-tuks taxis in the area and arranged our tickets for Phnom Penh (USD 15 one way). Food is great - can be served in your room, in the restaurant, or by the pool. They offer traditional Khmer, western and vegetarian options. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
