Good reasonable hotel

reasonable price compared to others

i have stayed in this hotel for my last 5 business trips over the last 6 months. everytime when i return, the prices did increased a little. from usd to current price of usd. i'm looking out for other hotels and willing to try other hotels at the same price and services. when i find one, i shall spread the words.
Restaurant Tip: YKKO Chinese food restaurant is down the street. On the other side, if you walk approx 5 mins, there is a shopping center with Orange supermarket

Room is clean. Vacinity is quite quiet. Taxis are available right outside at entrance. Choose the taxi wisely and please bargain for lower prices. Be aware of old taxis with no air-con. Their seats could be wet during raining season. Carry hand antiseptic lotion and wet wipes everywhere u go
Restaurant Tip: Down the street is YKKO restaurant. Good Asian food

Ok mid-range hotel, spacious room, comfortable

Comfortable room with hot water, cable tv, good view. Good chinese buffet breakfast

fair mid-range high rise hotel with plenty of rooms making it popular with tour groups. our room was spacious and comfortable with complimentary bottled water, and a mini-bar. good quality wi-fi was available in all rooms, and an internet room downstairs had a printer for guests use. there is a chinese restaurant which is quite pricey for dinner, but the buffet breakfast was quite good. on the outskirts of the city; you can walk to the centre in about 45 minutes. it is nearer the national museum and if you’re happy to walk you can get to the famous shwedagon paya in about 45 minutes too.

The hotel meets the standards required for its price. Rooms are big enough and clean. Breakfest is also good. I appreciete the helpful service on the front desk and the good location of the hotel. Recommended for families with children
Nightlife Tip: You can go walking to the night market, a wonderful experience to introduce you into Burma culture

Basically OK

quiet enough

Primarily customed by business people, mostly Asian and sub-Continental. The odd western tourist who turns up here looks kinda out of place and doubt the Panda would even get their trade were it not for Agoda. Hotel itself is in no way new or fashionable, but is has been maintained. The fresh paint covers things up and it is clean. There is very basic cable tv, passable internet, good AC, and breakfast not really worth getting up for. Located just outside the downtown periphery, walkable only for those who enjoy the exercise and can take the heat. At 85 usd, the Panda is high for the mid-range or 3-star experience.

Comfortable rooms in a reasonbly central location

fairly central and very friendly staff
5.7
The Panda hotel is a solid choice, reasonably priced for Yangon (where hotels can cost a fortune). It's clean and comfortable and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The beds - and in particular the pillows - were a little hard, but apart from that the room was fine for a couple of days in Yangon. There is also wifi and access to a business centre, which are all very useful. It's also close to a few restaurants with Chinese, Thai and Japanese food. The hotel restaurant is very expensive, and was completely empty when I went to have a look.

1 night here and would recommend. Location is fine and service very good. Internet worked which is a bonus in Myanmar. Remember credit cards can not be used here still.
