Less than a minute's stroll from Sungai Pinang Kecil jetty, Pangkor Guesthouse SPK is a renovated residence that preserves the original woods and pillars 100 years of age. The guesthouse owner turned the residence into a lodge to share the warm hospitality and rich culture of Pangkor Island.

Pangkor Guesthouse SPK is located on the east coast of Pangkor Island where all the local people live in. Though the guesthouse is not near the beach of tourist spots on the west coast, the guesthouse provides transportation and other services for all guests to explore the beach and other areas.

At Pangkor Guesthouse SPK, you will experience Pangkor Island the way Pangkorians do! Guests will get to explore this charming island like nowhere else. Be prepared for mouth-watering fresh seafood and a variety of delicious local dishes. You will never get bored here as there are plenty of activities and sightseeing such as horn-bill watching, a boat-making factory, fish farm, and wild animal feeding. You will soon find yourself falling in love with the peaceful lifestyle of the people here and have many unforgettable memories to bring home.

beautiful guesthouse in pangkor

The landlady is extremely friendly and helpful! The building itself is an old but well renovated house in the centre of the old pangkor fishing village.
It is not that close to the beaches but the atmosphere around the house is very authentic and nit touristy. Very conveniently located, close to the ferry although it takes 15 minutes by car to fet to the beaches.

Will not look for other hotel in Pangkor

location, convenient, hospitality
Hotel is clean and tidy. love the recreation corner with hammock. No TV in your room but there are plenty of books for you to read (mostly in Chinese). Nearby have a lot of local food and stalls. Joyce will recommend some routes for you. Hotel is near to the Jetty, less than 5 minutes walking distance. for outdoor activities, look for Joyce for sea and land tour available.

Excellent Services

1. Friendly 2.Clean 3.Services Provided
Its worth to spend money on this place where the service provided staff is very friendly . every time the management concern about the Neat and tidy. there are many local food outlets available in that places and the prices of the foods are very cheap. Not only they provide the hotel services they managed to help us on the tour that we would like to spend in pangkor island. I will recommend this hotel because the amount that is spend is worth.

Pangkor Guesthouse review.

Cheap water and beer, host was friendly, close to ferry
We had booked for 3 people but on arrival our host did not have 3 bed/ ensuite room available. We were given an upstairs room with communal bathroom. Sheets were not big enough for bed. Overall it was good...just a bed to sleep and aircon. A bit noisy with others close by, walking past our room to use bathroom.Host did not reply to any emails.

Beautiful fishing village hotel

located in a charming chinese fishing village, excellent staff and good food around
It´s nice to get the hotel at SPK instead of main beach area so you can get cheaper food and enjoy the life of that small Chinese fishing town away from the tourist and the prayers call. Lol
