Spacious & Comfortable

Location / Staff / Well appointed room
Wonderful - Big comfortable room (Super deluxe)/ staff wonderful & friendly / Restaurant quite basic which serves fresh delicious meals (recommend dining adjacent Pool/Garden area, good location there to relax & enjoy surrondings) - Bathroom clean & modern - All-in-All a great time in a convenient location to most of the Ubud Attractions / Restaurants etc - Will definitely stay there again. Thanks to all at Panorama for a great stay.

Pleasant hotel but a little out of the way

gorgeous gardens, breakfast included, staff friendliness
the hotel looked pretty dated, but the grounds were absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in the super deluxe and that room was nice, but a little overpriced. The sheets were stained with mildew but smelled clean enough. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This hotel was a little out of the way but we rented a scooter from across the street and that worked out perfectly. Breakfast was decent.

Just ok.

The location was not too far from Ubud center. Morning breakfast was tasty and made to order from a menu of 6 selections. Room was clean and comfortable.
The hotel itself was ok. We had issues with the hot water and the staff was able to bring it to a warm level of comfort. We stayed in a superior room and it was very clean and modern. It even included a DVD player. Good thing as there is no English language channels. The location was just a five / ten minute walk to Ubud center. Lots of great restaraunta within a five minute radius walk. Lots of taxi /transportation people just outside the grounds. The reason I didn't really like this hotel is the testaraunt artached really catered to the bus groups that were dropped off for lunch and dinners. The people of the tours would walk around the grounds of the hotel even looking in hotel rooms on the ground floor. Also, they would take over the pool area for picture taking so it was super uncomfortable to be able to use the pool.

needs a very thorough upgrade

the hotel is very run down and needs a thorough upgrade in order to capitalise on an otherwise great location. our room was tired, dull, the bed was almost collapsing. bathroom looked a million year old. swimming pool tiles broken & chipping. this hotel can be a great one but right now it's below average.

Discounted price gets a discounted room!

Lovely gardens and dining areas, in a fabulous location in Ubud
Was obvious as we'd got the huge agoda discount we also got the worst room. An enormous bed that was two single mattresses on a base that was sagging and groaned with every move is not 5 star as advertised. Room was very large though with a fridge and tea/coffee facilities that were appreciated. Television provided but with only local Indonesian channels and no DVD player. The other rooms did look much better appointed with more care to presentation. Staff were very friendly, especially the cleaning staff. The gardens and pool area are above standard and very peaceful, clearly a lot of work and pride has been put into these areas. Hotel is undergoing major building works, with extra stories being put on, probably why it was so cheap. On the whole it was good value and I'd definitely stay again, but not in that bed!
