Great location

Great location, close to everything
5.7
The location really was the only good thing about this hotel. I would not pay more than $80 / night for a hotel of this level. The windows did almost nothing to cancel the outside noise of the city, and at 2 / 3 am we were still kept awake to partiers shouting and fighting. The bathroom was terrible. The water was either too hot or too cold, impossible to get the right balance, and it took ages to register any changes you made to the temperature on the taps. It was very old, belongs in the 1980s. Cramped and uncomfortable, and after a shower there would be water all over the floor everywhere.

Great location, small rooms

center of town close to shopping, restuarants

we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.very good location downtown within walking distance to everything you need. staff were friendly and service good. The room was fairly nice and modern design.we were lucky to get upgraded but would be interested to know what the standard rooms were like as ours was still very small and nothing spectacular. rooftop view was impressive but shame that the swimming pool has been neglected.wasted opportunity. No heating - even in the middle of the summer was freezing and need some renovation and thought.
Restaurant Tip: avoid the fast food joints in the vicinity of the hotel and make the walk up oxford street and turn right onto crown street where you can find numerous quality restuarants

Friendly staff, good location but small bathroom

Helpful and friendly front line
7.7
Very accommodating to change our room direction away from the busy and noisy street.
Hotel Feature Tip: If you are a light sleeper, try to check in early and ask for the rooms facing away from the busy street. Good night's rest assured.

Not Impressed. More of a motel than a hotel. The rooms are very small and not very well insulated. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Good location with great roof terrace with pool.

The rooms were smallish but fine for two. The hotel was clean and the desk service very friendly and helpful.

we enjoyed our stay at the park regis. its best selling point is its location. it has no restaurant but there is an excellent coffee shop just next door which serves good all-day breakfasts. we paid an awful lot for our smallish room but we were there for new year's eve.

Fun and liesurely with a laid-back city vibe

Accessible, comfortable and good view of the city
7.3
It was reasonably priced and the view from the penthouse is good because you can see the fireworks in Sydney quite clearly.

Good service but really shabby bathroom

location is amazing.

First of all, do not confuse this hotel with the St. Regis in NYC. Maybe I am the only who made the mistake but I am just warning you. The hotel is partly hotel and party apartment. The reception area is really small and they do not help you with luggages at all. You also need to pay extra for storing luggages after check out. The building is kind of old and the hall way is narrow. The room was also old and the bathroom is so not worth the price. It was old and minimal. However, the overal cleanliness of the hotel was not bad. The location was certainly a plus though.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Go climb the Sydney bridge!

Very noisy at night with rubbish collection and people coming home yahooing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Short walk to Darling Harbour.

Convenient location

Nice staffs and good location
8.3
The location is very convenient, walking distance to China town, Paddy Market, QVB, St. Andrew's Cathedral, St. May's Cathedral and Darling Harbout. Within 5 mins walk from Town hall station. Just a minute to supermarket. Room is clean and the view at 45/F is good.

Good location, simple rooms

Great location.

The room was nothing fancy. You get what you paid for. Located very conveniently to Sydney's business and shopping district. Very close to fast food outlets, Starbucks, Gloria Jeans and Woolworths - perfect for the traveller with a little extra budget.
