Read through for a list of pros & cons and how it
The reviews here for this hotel was so great but some of them are true. Pros: The rooms were very neat. Basic, but equipped with everything that was needed. The staff were very polite and helpful through the entire stay. The breakfast staff were also very polite and courteous. The free Wifi in the rooms in the hotel was descent -speed and bandwidth was acceptable. The sheets in the room were colored so felt like home. They changed the sheets after 2 nights. The breakfast was made to order, limited, simple but good enough for a 3 star establishment. The hotel is located in the City Center about 10 minutes walk to Long Street. There are a couple of good restaurants around and a few delis and convenience stores that also serve deli type food . Cons Location: Since we had a car, it was ok, but if we had to walk I'd think twice walking to the hotel especially in the dark. I was suggested to not park on the street for safety concerns. If the windows in the room were left open, it can be loud - from the near by places that look like homeless shelters and student lodges and the cars from the police station close by. The Hotel's designated parking is on the 13th floor of the garage next door with a walking entrance straight from the garage into the hotel -- but you need to circle up for 13 floors to get to parking - at about 100 meters a floor, it is more than 1 km or almost a mile you keep driving in circles to reach the parking. Could have been better: The large glass windows did have a nice blackout curtain, but did not have a privacy drape. So either it is dark or you are just open for a public show to other high rises. So a privacy curtain that lets light in would have been good. Instead of giving us access to 13th floor car park, the hotel could have just done Valet parking. That would have avoided us having to get the validated parking voucher every time we exit the hotel. Every time - go downstairs validated voucher- go upstairs, drive down 13 floors. Hotel Val

Neat but not convenient
Considering its price it is not bad. However, you can find a better pl\ace for this price in this town. It is good that it offers breakfast and the staffs are pretty kind. Somehow it has some bad sides. It doesn't have refreiegerator and the airconditioning is not working well. It is locating in some lousy place. It didn't feel safe to get there in the evening. I st\ayed there for 3 days and I only walked there the first day, and I used taxi to go in and out of the place. Travelers with family should have better consideration for this.

Close to Long Street
Comfortable, Family, Spacious
Staff are amazing and makes you feel like a family with their greetings and helpfulness! Long Street and Companys Garden are just nearby, making this hotel a good location to explore Cape Town on foot! My wifi was disconnected intermittently, but everything else is good!
