Close to the center

Close to the center, quaiet, big garden
All in all nice enough, close to the center with big garden, uncomfortable bed and with small sheets, sufficient cleaning.

Banana pancakes :)

Nice owners, banana pancakes, actual tv channels!
Nice guesthouse with lovely owners (and lovely dogs!). Room was basic but clean, aircon worked well and we were excited about the variety of TV channels as we hadn't seen much English TV at the other places we stayed in the Philippines. Wifi was spotty (I had to sit on the patio to get it to work) but the banana pancakes for breakfast were amazing. Guesthouse is near the end of the main road but still easy to walk everywhere. If you're a light/late sleeper be warned that there is a gym next door that sometimes blasts dance music in the morning.

Great for divers!

Location, Cleaniness, Hot water even electric break down!
I went El Nido for diving alone during Late-July 2015. Peak House Garden(PHG) is close to several dive shops (Aquanaut is highly recommended). Remember divers don't want to walk a long distance getting back to hotel to take a hot shower and wear clean dry clothes after diving! PHG is clean and tidy that provide Air-Con, Cable TV and Hot water shower. Do be reminded that electricity break down occurs in El Nido, but even so PHG provides lights, fan and hot water shower with their own electricity generator. (Air-con may not be provided during the break down.) The keepers are friendly and helpful. PHG is just good and value for money hotel for divers!

Decent b&b

Proximity to town proper, relatively new rooms and bathrooms, cheap
Peak House is a decent bed&breakfast in El Nido Town proper. If you will be away most of the day doing the island hopping tours, I highly recommend it. It is a 3 minute walk away from the beach where the tour boats are moored. The rooms itself are relatively new, so it is fairly clean compared to other places. The bathroom is a typical one you'd find in a Philippine rural home where there is no divider between the shower and the toilet and as a result everything in the bathroom gets wet. The tiles and fixtures are new but I still recommend showering with flip flops on (as I do staying in places less than 4-star). The breakfast is just okay, because you get what you pay for. We booked this b&b thru agoda and found out it is over a thousand pesos more expensive to do so! Normally the owner of the house charges Php2000/night (about

It wasn't what we expected
No one was at the reception area when we arrived at 3PM. It seemed that the lady was taking a nap at that time and it took a while for someone to notice that we were there. The bed sheets did not look clean. It felt like tiny bugs were biting on us as we laid on their bed. The bathroom had a faint, unpleasant smell, too. The one thing I liked about the place was Dos, their brown female resident dog who quietly laid by our feet as we ate our breakfast the day after we checked-in. We were in El Nido for 3 nights and 4 days. Stayed at Peak House Garden Pension for just a night though.
