Old Bali feel with much appreciated wifi.

I feel the need to make sure that everyone knows the "seaside villa" for which you will pay more actually means "within the same compound as the villas closer to the sea" However, the "Club Lumbug" rooms would definitely be much further away. Go for the seaside villa, but don't expect to drift off to sleep accompanied by sounds of surf on the beach. Either way, there is a sandy beach minutes of walking away.
It really didn't matter that the room was not on the beach, though, because the villa was just fine. I slept well, and woke long before dawn to see the sunrise over the bay. The wind blew like mad (kite surfing, anyone) although the evening and night before. The dawn damped the wind, and by morning the bay was a mirror pond.
The restaurant is great for watching the world go by- literally- the sidewalk on the beach is the trail for bikes, joggers, walkers, dogs, etc.
Exceptionally friendly and helpful office staff. Little eats to buy in very comfortable open air lobby including cookines, gelato, beer and pop. Free coffee and tea service through the day- bonus to me- I love tea.

The location was excellent, the room was comfortable, the staff was friendly.

Amazing Time
Amazing staff, incredible character of rooms and grounds, right on the beach

I had an incredible stay in one of the seaside rooms and sitting in front and seeing the sun come up was an amazing sight. The grounds were amazing with lush green trees and wonderful pools in many places. The staff was always there with a smile and helped in every way we needed.

We didn't have much to do with staff as all was well. Would have preferred coffee making facility in hotel rooms and wi fi coverage of hotel rooms also.
