Overall quite good. Noisy children put damper on the last couple of nights.
Handy undercover parking and good proximity to centre of Queenstown.
Nice view but bigger window with a covered balcony we could sit at and enjoy the view would have been good

We loved our stay at Peppers Beacon. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite which was comfortable and well serviced. Having a self contained kitchen was a bonus because it meant we could lazily start our day with our own cooked breakfast. The wrap around glass windows with amazing lake and mountain views were the stand out of our holiday. It is pretty hard to beat waking up to postcard picture perfection every day! The room also had a warm fire, washing machine and drier which were fantastic. The bathroom was small but had everything we needed. The are only two areas I would pick to change. Firstly, the hard, lumpy beds. Next time I would buy some sort of mattress protector to improve the comfort. Also, there is quite a bit of noise from the surrounding rooms (both above and side), but luckily for us this was only during the day. It might be a problem if you had noisy night owls in the adjoining rooms. Overall though we loved our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on our return to Queenstown.

The large modern living area with gas fire, superb lake views with huge floor to ceiling windows and large deck with table and chairs, just a 5 min walk to shopping and restaurants along the lake

We had a very enjoyable stay. Very clean, large modern living area and kitchen. The daily servicing was great. Our only complaint with the suite would be the very small bathroom with a shower over an extremely deep bath that was hard to climb in and out of. Would not be suitable for older travelers. Having to pay $18 a day for Wifi left a bad taste with us also the Sky reception was intermittent.

Our stay was perfect. Staff even stored our bags while we hiked and already had them in our room when we returned. They also made excellent restaurant suggestions.

This is a great place to stay just a few minutes from the center of town. The staff is great. We got excellent restaurant recommendations. The best thing was we stayed there before and after our treks and not only did they store our bags but they were already in our new room after the hike. Very nice to arrive tired and not have to search for our bags. We had a large room with a view of the lake. We would stay here again.
