Disappointing due to lack of staff

Great lcation and facilities
5.7
Arrived to find they hadnt cleared email so not aware of the pre paid booking. Found the room had another guests bags and food in the fridge, no bar service at the pool, staff were few and difficult to find. No ice machine. Room and resort of a high quality , just a shame about the lack of staff. We would have spent the afternoon around the pool if there had been someone serving food and drinks.

Comfortable villa with first class restaurant

Lovely views over golf course, first class restaurant, discrete but attentive service
9.3
Paul provided discrete but attentive service, Munish provided tasty meals, well presented. Golf Course was challenging if a bit windy on the occasion we visited. Well worth a visit for Golfers on a Northland tour. The KariKari estate wines were good. I liked the Martinborough Pinot best.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Well worth exploring Karikari peninsula. Can drive to Cape Reinga and back in a day.

Great romantic weekend escape. Magnificent views!

Secluded and private and you're like staying within your own golf course and vineyard as well.
7.7
Beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Totally relaxing, nice in house restaurant and club lounge or simply sip wine on the corridor deck of your lodge/villa.
Hotel Feature Tip: The adjoining vineyard has a lovely restaurant with sweeping views. Great wines and food but bookings essential as it's very popular.

Exceptional experience

The golf course
8.7
Both the resort and the golf course exceeded our wildest expectations. In addition the staff went the extra mile.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: The golf course is first class but is challenging.
