Easy & comfortable.

The room was warm, comfortable & well serviced. The staff were very attentive & welcoming.
It was nearly perfect. We had an 18-month-old toddler. While the room wasn't really ideal for him the staff tried to make it so & were very accommodating of our requests. we got the room at a substantially reduced rate & it was excellent value for money.

Centrally located

Quaint old hotel
we found the hotel in fodor's guide. the guide suggested that the hotel might be so opulent and visited by the wealthy that visitors would have to match their manners and dress. we didn't find this the case at all. while stately and old, the rooms are not overly appointed. the staff were very accommodating, and the guests seemed to be unconcerned with others' pedigree.
