Beware of activities booking

Nice location in the forest and close to the beach
I picked this hotel because of the many activities (mangrove tour, zipline, night walk etc)that could be done there compared to surrounding hotels. I booked for two nights and arrived around 5 pm the first day. When I asked to booked activities, I have been told by reception that it could no longer be booked after 5pm. When I went back the day after, I have been told that all activities must be booked at least 1 day in advance. I then could not do any activities and spent two days of doing close to nothing.

An awesome experience and worth the splurge

It is a tree house, it is by the water, you see wildlife
We loved it. Although the smoke from the Sumatra fires made the outlook very hazy - we could imagine how nice it would normally be. The South China Sea is really hot - not refreshing but still nice to splash around in. Loved the restaurant and it was nice to hang around and relax while using the wifi. The rooms ar plain and simple - with a nice natural wood finish. The windows and doors are a bit squewed, so there are some gaps for the bugs to get in. Only problem is the shower runs across the toilet floor into the drain - a bit wet under foot.

Great stay in The natural

water heater, balcony, breakfast place
i stayed a night in tree house number8 with my friend. The tree house is much more better than my expectation, equipped with water heater and air-con. The balcony is authentic and has a view to the sea(may block by trees) . The room is quite clean, just some corners crawl with ants still okay for me. There is a breakfast on the morning, the feeding place is facing the sea, awesome view. Definitely will stay at there again if comes here again.

Lovely stay, helpful staff

The staff, the treehouse and the setting
Great stay, great treehouse accommodation. One night we saw the local wild monkeys at eye level playing in the trees. A lot of creepy crawlers around but it's in middle of a rainforest so you have to expect. Restaurant sells no alcohol so bring your own, v helpful staff organised bags taxis etc when needed with no issues Bit far out from Kuching, hour drive but taxis so cheap it's ok. So stay there for 2-3 nights not just one to take in the local area. Really close to national park and walks so great

Stay in the Treehouse

Treehouse, treehouse, & Bako National Park
We stayed here for 2 nights. First night was in a cabin. Very basic and not my cuppa tea. Second night we stayed in the Treehouse. I loved it kids loved it and this made the trip worth it. But the treehouse is limited and requires prior reservation with at least one year lead time. But worth the price and long booking. With the Bako National Park at the back yard this is fun fun fun.
