Expensive for what it was

Quiet, mosquito net and fan
Old, dark, rundown. Leaves in the pool. Bathroom basic although did have hot water. Quiet as quite away from the bars (up a hill in the dark, girls avoid if you are easily scared!) fine if you don't mind a little uphill walk with backpacks on as we did in daylight. Staff seemed friendly enough though and fine if it didn't cost so much (I would say £10/$15/500THB is plenty!) we paid £22 which is crazy! Great beach on East (non-port side) and cool house tunes and Jenga etc on west side beachfront (we got burnt so needed shade!!!) enjoy!

worst hotel I've ever stayed at

aircon, swimming pool, breakfast
Shocking. Worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Very Far away from town , steep uphill climb to get there. Sheets were stained on arrival. Room was not cleaned once in 3days. Would not recommend this place.

Basic room with leaky roof, yellow stained towles

View from the balcony. Responsive staff. Good location
When we were shown to the bungalow the guy quickly ran in and sprayed everywhere with air fresher. We got the impression that this was their idea of cleaning the room. We asked for one of the towels and one of the pillows to be changed for ones without yellow stains on. The manager politely obliged. It rained heavily on our first night and after walking back we were looking forward to a warm shower. Unfortunately it did not heat up. The roof was leaking and we were lucky that the drips just missed the bed. When I told the manager of these things in the morning he was straight on it. The shower was working the next day and I assume they looked at the roof, although it didn't rain again so we'll never know. The bungalows are a 10 min walk out of town, finishing with a fairly steep hill. We managed to hitch a lift in possibly the only truck on Phi Phi and we were glad of the rest bite with our bags.

Not bad

spacious rooms, helpful staff
not too bad of a spot. A bit of a hike out of the main town, but after 5 nights right in the middle of everything it was a welcome break. The room was spacious and clean. The pool was not bad, refreshing after all the walking to the viewpoint.

travel with kids

pool ok, quite friendly staff, sun
pretty awful. not much pleasant at all. room so small, no room for bags- I didn't even wash, sticking out nails on floor- cut foot, broken tiles in pool- so daughter cut her leg. not a good area, uncomfortable walking back. not very central. I left early.

good place to stay for reasonable price

price, stuff, good breakfast
as all Phi Phi hotels are overpriced, it's really good place to stay for budget travelers. it's not so noisy place comparing to the bongalows placed right on the beach, where pary is lasting till the dawn, but it's not so far away from the town and beach. It's slightly up the hill, and accomodations are quite basic, but it's really goods value for the price you pay and what you get in Phi Phi.

basic hotel. not really worth the money.

pool. more quiet location. breakfast included
We got a deal through agoda so our stay was okay in the end. But we expected some more cozy place from the pictures. The hotel is very basic. The pool is okay. Location as well, bit far from the action, but we didn't mind. Staff was polite but more like not interested in there customers.

Perfect place for cool backpackers

Friendly staff, good breakfast, cool location
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, nice pool, good breakfast. Even though it's a bit far from the beach compared to the others - so it just means 15 minutes by foot. But you meet locals on the way here, not only tourists;)
