Best Hotel in Thailand So Far
Beautiful room, beautiful surroundings and friendly staff
We stayed a Phuaroon twice during our recent travels. We stayed two nights in a brand new bungalow and and a few days later we stayed two nights in one of the original bungalows. Both rooms were great, and they were even better because we got such low rates. My wife is Thai and very friendly, and she immediately became friends with the owners. That made our stay even better. I would recommend Phuaroon to everyone, and I'm sure we'll be back there again for the Loy Krathong Festival in next year. If I show the pictures of our rooms to any American, they won't believe what we paid. (The hotel does not have food, but I couldn't submit my review without filling in that section. They do have free coffee and toast for breakfast.)

A super place to stay.
cleanness location the Bungalows
The hotel is situated directly behind the bus terminal(a tuk-tuk driver wanted 100 B, good that i got a GPS navigation on my phone, so i realized quickly that we have to make just a 100m to face the hotel reception). The location in my opinion is just perfect - you can't get late for your bus because of the traffic :) If you want to go to the center, you have to walk a little bit, but it's nothing scary, we walked the distance hotel-city center up to 5 times per day and it was ok. On the other side, because of the distance in the hotel is really quiet and you can just rest. The Bungalow itself was just a dream - well made solid building, specious enough with an air conditioning, fridge, TV etc. and a HUGE super-comfortable bed. Once was a little bit noisy from the construction works next to the Bungalow, but most of the time we were at 9:00a.m. already gone from the hotel. I would stay once again in it if I go in Sukhothai again.

Convenient and nice hotel
Really close to bus station, nice rooms, friendly staff
I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was really nice, the rooms / bungalows were super cute. The staff were super friendly, but had limited English so could not answer some of my questions. It is located right next to the bus station and a short walk into town - so a great location if you're catching the bus in or out. The only downside was really really bad wifi. A bit disappointing.

not bad
close to the bus terminal
Overall it was pleasant. They should put some indications close to the bus station on how to get to them. The staff at the reception really nice but they speak only little English. Anyways, they were helpful. Good value for the money.

Dull but very good value
Adjoins the bus station, only 500m from centre, excellent value
This is a slightly odd place which I selected because it was near the bus station. Actually, it adjoins it - there is a back fence and door from the station with "Phuaroon" marked, but ask for it by name, don't try to describe it. Phuaroon itself is a series of newish bungalows, maybe ten years old, but decorated like a 1970s uk caravan park. My room was spacious, clean but very dull. However, it was really good value and 500m from the town centre. Two minor negatives. The walk to town has a lot of dogs on it. These are tame and fine, but at night some may be concerned. Also, the whole area is residential with livestock, so you will be woken by cockerels, dogs etc (I think this would apply to most places nearby).
