Definatly not worth

Quiet, nice view of sunset on the canal from my room, comfy bed.
I was okay, but definatly not worth. There is no sink, so you have to brush your teeth with the shower head! Damnuen Saduack is a no where land exept for the market from 8 to 10. The locals didnt seem to like tourists wondering around out side those hours and I even got stopped by a cop around 4:00pm to make sure I was going to my hotel!

Reasonable hotel for the price.

Near elephants
For the price, it is reasonable value for money. However you will need your own transportation

Decent for price

Good size and good location
It's good if you like mosquitoes, had to hide under the duvet. Room was a decent size and te shower has hot water.

Me and my boyfriend wanted to stay here two nights to go to the floating market among with other things. We ended up just staying one night. It was hard to find, staff didn't know any english at all, they didn't even wanted to see our voucher just gave us a key and left us standing outside the door to the room. And the room itself... filthy, looked like à horror movie! We just took our things the next day and got away as quick as possible. Don't go there!

Close to the floating market.

Close to the market and they didn't over charge for beer.
It was fine. Staff couldn't speak any English or assist with onward travel info but it did the job of being close to the market.

Friendly staff and close to the floating market
little bit hard to find the hotel, and it was a quiet time of year so we were the only people staying there. but the staff were helpful.

Very basic but good for market

Comfy bed. Verandah onto canal. Close to floating market.
Difficult to find. Go past the main market turning on the right, and it's the next on the left. But the sign for the hotel is not in English, so look out for the Elephant village sign - same road. No one spoke English which made things harder. Nowhere to get any food. But was great for getting to the market early. Bed was comfy, room was clean. Definitely worth getting the VIP room rather than the other option. Would not stay more than one night, then only for the market which was lovely to be on the canals by 7am.

beautiful location, idyllic retreat

great view of the mountains at sunrise, very relaxing stay, feels like you are deep in the jungle
Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms, although the twin beds were a little narrow. Perfect shower, perhaps the best one I've ever had. THe water in the shower was so fresh and clean. Excellent food in the restaurant too
