perfect service, old style but very clean
small, personal, great design and service, friendly and old style, minibar free, clever designed rooms
I really liked this stylish house, not modern and cold, but friendly, oriental carpets, shining wooden floor, nice staff and generous style. For example the minibar (containing beer and non-alcoholic drinks was free, free snacks in the room, everything meticulously clean and refurbished. Lovely details like Bonsai trees in the arcade to the pool. No complaints at all, I love this house and I am a picky bastard!

Fabulous, Glorious, Wonderful!!!!
I think they can read minds.
This is the best place we have ever stayed. When we drove up and the building was so beautiful, it was only the beginning. The staff is there to serve-from the guard in the parking lot all the way through the staff. They were so friendly and nice. I felt like I was staying in a friends home. Our room was beautiful and clean with wonderful furniture. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were magnificent. They even have a pillow menue to order a different pillow if you want to. The grounds are fabulous, the pool beautiful. The included breakfast was off of a menue with great coffee. The food in the restaurant was so good we ate there every night. It was original Thai food and we got recipes for some of the dishes. Every afternoon there is happy hour. It was so relaxing to sit on the covered patio and have a glass of wine. There are many little conversation areas all over the hotel to sit and chat or to sit and be alone. If we looked like we wanted something they would bring it. It was wonderful service without being pretentious. I felt like a queen.
We went to the Maetaman Elephant Camp where the elephants paint. We watched the elephants paint, rode elephants, went on an ox cart ride, rode on a river raft and had lunch there. It was very professional and well done.
We went to Tiger Kingdom where we played with and had our picture taken with the baby tigers.
We went to The Eagle Track Zip Line which was soooo much fun! It was amazing! Very safe, professional and we had a great time.
We recommend not going on a group tour. We were treated as VIPs because we were there without a group. We hired a driver and made a schedule for two days of sightseeing.

Lovely, charming hotel
Old world charm in a new building
A beautifully crafted boutique hotel with a fantastic little pool. The rooms will take your breath away.
Don't miss the food at the restaurant -- especially the Thai breakfast.
Location isn't great but it's still easy to get into town for sightseeing. But if you want a secluded and quiet getaway, this is fantastic.

Beautiful hotel with perfect location
Nice big rooms, walking distance from night market, good service
This little gem is 7-8 minutes walk from the night market yet little away from it to give nice quiet atmosphere. The rooms are really nice and big with huge bathrooms. Breakfast is very good though at first sight it may appear small. The management is very generous to give free minibar and lovely coconut toffees in each room which they refill everyday!
The front office staff was very helpful to find us a taxi for day trips.
The restaurant food is excellent and very well presented.
The night market has all the handicraft that you may want to buy from Chiang Mai and is very cheap compared to the handicraft village or even sunday market.

A mini Reffles in Chiangmai
5 star luxury at budget costs with genuine smiles.
The hotel is about 10 minutes from the hotel and on arrived we were greeted with a welcome cool towel and drink. Immediate appearance was that of a British colonial hotel very like raffles in Singapore. Staff were completely prepared for our arrival. The room was large with a very comfortable bed, large screen tv etc.the bathroom bright modern and all accessories provided. The information service is an antique dest just inside the lobby and again here the gentleman was very helpful and was not at all pushy about this tour or that activity. I have been to the area in four previous occasions so I know what it can be like. He was professional. The two visits we wanted to make we're in the company of Som, and she and the driver were fun to be with. My partner is Buddhist and Som understood when information was not needed and when to give moments of peace for some quiet meditation. The final cherry on the cake, optional, but great, was returning to the airport in the hotels 46 year old classic Mercedes Benz.
The Hotel had a very good resturant, breakfast is very good. However this does not stop the staff offering information and advice about local places. We really enjoyed one only about 10 minutes walk called Real Earth - I think that's the name, worth asking about.

Luxurious Rooms with white architecture style
Large and comfortable Rooms
1. Room is large and comfortable. Room facilities are modern.
2. balcony has good views.
3. white architecture style looks beautiful.
1. The hotel itself is a little bit small.
2. A little bit noisy because one side of room is nearby the road.
3. waitress are polite yet not seem so welcome.

Helpful but not well-trained staff, great spa
The hotel gave you a colonial feeling with a very beautiful architecture. The room is decorated in an colonial style with the private bar for free! The spa therapist is also very professional and the atmosphere was just awesome. The only problem of this hotel seems to be the front desk who didn't seem to be well-trained and took a very long time during my reception process
