Great location and spacious rooms
PNB Perdana Hotel & Suites On The Park is one of the most spacious hotel for the given price range I've ever experienced so far in Malaysia. The location is pretty convenient with Bukit Bintang and the popular Pavilion Mall nearby. KLCC area is also within reach by a short drive. But ultimately, there're no malls or entertainment facilities directly next to this hotel. The area is surrounded by offices and hotels. The rooms are spacious, so spacious that you either feel a sense of freedom or a sense of emptiness. Furthermore, the rooms are well-lit with their slightly yellow lightings and lamps which gives a soothing feel to your eyes. The hotel has undergone some renovation, hence some of the interiors and exteriors may look new and fresh, however, the hotel rooms itself weren't renovated nor refurbished. Therefore the furniture and facilities in hotel rooms are pretty ancient. Examples are the bathtub, the carpet, the sofa, the cushions, they all seemed pretty old and used extensively. Fortunately, things that are usually left unused or rarely used by typical guests are relatively new. Examples are the kitchen and the dining table. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is satisfactory as the furniture and facilities are old and used but relatively clean. The towels and bedding are clean and fresh. The air condition system are functioning at tip top condition and is definitely fit for polar bears. The staff are polite and patient but not efficient, hence queues generally build up in the reception/check-in/check-out counter. It seems that all matters or enquires regarding the hotel have to be made at that one reception/check-in/check-out counter, examples like car park ticket redemption, etc. They do have their own underground car park with 3 basement levels. To conclude, the stay was definitely a good experience. For travellers who requires space and a large area, this is the place to be.
