Value of money, clean and relax
Poring Hot Spring is one of the best resort I ever been. It is clean, environment is good. The only thing I need to feedback is resort inside is not provide WIFI. The rest should be fine.

Upgraded to Palm villa
We booked the jungle lodge. Upon arival at the reception, our booking was upgraded to palm villa. It was a huge villa and we were staying for 2 pax. It got scary at night since it was really quite. Nonetheless, we loved the privacy and the staffs were superbly helpful.

Enjoyable stay
Staying here was fantastic! I was welcomed by most friendly staff-Rannon after driving around 3-4 hours in total. He welcome-smiled had calmed our tiredness by half. He described clearly the each location and the facilities around. Escorted by the security member, we arrived the villa. What came into my eyes are exactly what i saw in photos, even greater than i imagined. We had a pleasant night for a small family gathering. You might be able to catch a sunrise from the rooms, it was around 5.20am. Early morning, we went for breakfast buffet (local delicacies) and follow by Kipungit waterfall visit, along the way, we detoured to visit a botanical garden right opposite Rafflesia Garden (closed). The Botanical garden seems lack of maintenance, but we still manage to gain knowledge on what are the usage of the herbs and flowers. How do they look like and what are the different names in different languages etc. We spent around 15-20 minutes here, left quickly due to mosquito bites. Continued our journey to Kipungit waterfall, what welcomed us was the wonderful sound of waterfall as the water was gushing over the rocks. At its widest point, it was surging and plunging down the mountain. It had a beautiful serenity-pool at the bottom. It was veneer clear. We interrupted the lizards which were sun-bathing at that time as we stepped over the uneven rocks path to dip ourselves into the natural ponds. As soon as you dipped your legs, you will be 'refreshed' by its coldness, as you settled, small dead-skin-cleaner fishes will come to you and you get a free fish SPA.

A Tip for climber
If u stay here after climbing Mt Kinabalu, don't chosse Palm Villa. You need to walk futher than other type which is very matter for ur body condition.

Nice place for a getaway
Hot water supply was erratic during the afternoon. In the morning there was no hot water at all and the water was dirty. Staff were very polite and helpful. Room (Jungle Lodge ) was clean, spacious and well furnished. Outdoor bath is a plus! Hot springs were overcrowded and not impressive. The canopy walk was fun and exciting. Would have given better marks if the hot water supply was more consistent.
