Superb views.

The views. The friendly staff. The cats!
Speaking a little Thai helps. The hotel is a bit of a slog from the bus station especially if you are averse to motorcycle taxis but the view of lake, bridge and temples is absolutely splendid, despite current low water levels.

Beautiful view off the lake and the Mon bridge.

Beautiful view from my room on lake and Mon bridge, good restaurant, friendly staff.
It was a bit difficult to find from the busstop as it is situated at the end of the village. Because of that it is nice and quiet. The room was spacious, with balcony and had a beautiful view on the lake. Nice bathroom and the wifi in het room was ok. There is a big restaurant, also viewing the lake and they serve good food and nice breakfast. Most of the staff hardly speak English, but they are very friendly. When I decided to walk to the village in the morning to find out if I could hire a bicycle somewhere, one of the girls came after me with her motorbike and took me to the place where I could hire the bicycle. Really very kind.

Glad we could leave Sangkla after two nights

The internet was surprisingly good and the staff is helpfull
Room wasn't clean, there were cockroaches in the bathroom and I saw a mouse at the reception desk. Walls are very thin so I could hear my Thai neighbour watching TV late at night and early in the morning. Karaoke bounced straight into our room from underneath. The town itself is not worth a visit, there's nothing but stray dogs and pork-a-holic hawkers. Even the "famous" bridge had collapsed!

One of the better hotel in Sangkhlaburi

Hotel was at the end of the road, not really near to Mon bridge or the market. Would not be a problem if you drive. Hotel restaurant was cheaper compared to eating at P guest house
