Location for Ironman
Adequate. Cupboards in room broken, aircon didnt cool room down, roomservice okay, clean room. Shower had no pressure. Noisy.

The location and view over the sea.
A person involved in the building kindly advised us where to go and that reception was on the first floor. The window of the room was very dirty and spoilt the view over the sea which is spectacular. The room was not properly replenished after the last guest left and there was no milk, soap or extra toilet paper. I called reception and the person on duty called the kitchen to get milk. After some time the milk had not arrived so I went down to reception and they called the kitchen again. When the milk was still not there I walked towards the kitchens but could not get help. When I came back to the room a full glass of milk was there. We did not eat at the hotel so I am not able to judge but the field above is required. It should be optional.

Definitely NOT a satisfactory experience

Actuall nothing impressed
The Agoda Website on this hotel, especially the photo's, is extremely misleading. The location of the hotel, albeit, close to the beach, is in an area close to dilapidated and derelict unoccupied (slum)buildings in a very unclean and unsafe environment. The hotel itself needs a major re-vamp, the carpets in the public area as well as the rooms are filthy with stain marks. The Bathrooms are very small, dull and dingy with minimal lighting. The TV sets are huge boxes - compared the modern up to date state-of-the-art slimline flat tv's in many other hotels. Most of the Hotel Staff are not very helpful. The hotel is highly over-priced and does not offer value for money. Food wise it does not cater for specific dietary requirements (eg. halaal).

Very frustrating check-in ordeal

Friendly staff, Ocean views, Very quiet
My wife and I made an online reservation at 5:10pm and arrived at the hotel just before 6:30pm, but unfortunately the hotel had no record of our booking. We showed the reception staff a copy of the email confirmation, but we still had to wait over an hour while they unsuccessfully tried to make contact to confirm the reservation. Eventually, the duty Manager agreed to show us to a room. I asked the reception staff if it was possible to have a room with a fridge and they said yes, but when we finally got into our room, there was no fridge. I returned to reception re-enquired regards the availability of a fridge; the receptionist said that a mini-fridge would be sent up to the room. We checked out the next day – no fridge arrived to our room.
