HUGE hotel
Great hotel and really good value for money - we booked a one bed suite and the room was huge!! The hotel atmosphere is one of old grandeur - lots of grand ballrooms and conferences going on. Breakfast buffet was good and only real disappointment is the wifi only offered in the main lobby/reception area and not in rooms.

Satisfied with the free upgrade room
Checked in late ard 9pm plus and was given an upgrade of room. Although we doesn't stay in the hotel during our visit and didn't even got chance to use the facilities but we kinda like the location as it was convenience for us to buy our whole sales items.

Difference among old and new building
I used to be here few months ago and was assigned in the new building, which has better facilities and decoration but now when we are at the old building, rooms are smaller, dark and very old facilities as well as not very clean

Very disappointing hotel
A group of us stayed in this hotel for three nights. We were upgraded when we arrived, even though we'd already paid for a suite! If the suite we were in was an upgrade, I very much dread to think what the other rooms were like! Stained duvets, peeling wallpaper, badly scratched furniture...cockroach in the bathroom cupboard. A member of our group had the uttermost misfortune to have had her bag snatched off her, outside the hotel by 2 guys on a motorbike. When we asked the hotel staff for help and to call the police, they refused and were very rude. It was a harrowing experience for all of us. I have stayed in many hotels around Asia and I have never been treated in the manner in which we were last weekend!

Disappointing stay!
The room had mouldy walls, ripped wall paper, a cockroach in the bathroom cupboard, stained bed linen and old towels. On our final night there, while waiting for a taxi outside the front door my friend was mugged. We asked the hotel manager to call the police and he refused. It felt like we had been set up for the mugging I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. You want to feel safe in your hotel and you won't feel safe here!!!

Good and bad but mostly bad
Good value for the money where the rich would stay by mistake. We had a suite which was inconveniently located in C Tower which require a lift then a walk across a windy area to Tower A, a further walk to the lifts in the lobby on the 11th floor. Lots of lovely restaurants but all nearly empty as people are driven away by the high prices plus service and tax, including a tax on tax with alcohol. The TV's were old 20th century models and limited channels with no sports in English. Huge market below full of clothing in extremely bad taste that few with taste would wish to buy. Lots of empty cupboards in the kitchen area but no electric point for the kettle and the lead so short so it was only capable of being used on the floor under a heavy table. There was power point in the bedroom which did not work,(confirmed by a man who turned up a day later, light bulbs missing and no Bathrobes or slippers as advertised and requested the day before the man turned up, even after asking. Maintenance a worry. No WiFi in the room. The pool bar high prices, as were massages. (A small bottle of Chang 3 plus more than available outside. Smoking ares deficient and uncomfortable. Very few Muslims that I saw (The ones where women dress as Darth Vader's wife and the men like Goat herders) so why the ham needs to be separated from the rest of the food, including something wrongly described as "chicken ham" and no bacon available, is a little hard accept, when minorities like smokers are not catered for in comfort and convenience.

Good value for the money
Room had quite old furniture and dirty carpet. It is quite place at night considering that there is huge market place beside the hotel. Staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is good and served as early as 6 a.m. until 10 a.m.. It is good value for the money.
