Average room, large but old and dated

Service, large room, good restaurants
7
Large rooms but room and bathroom very dated, shower temperamental, hot one minute cold the next. Staff were helpful for the most apart from the tour organizers trying to organize a ridiculously priced taxi everyday. Overall average stay moved to another hotel as soon as we could

Cheap and OK-ish, but don't expect anything great.

Low price

Dull hotel with very so-so food and bland dull aged rooms. If you have a little more money spend it and enjoy something newer - in Bangkok it doesn't cost more and you don't get stung with wifi charges as you do at the Prince. I would not return, there are far better hotels for just a little more

Great hotel and service with a smile

Great ambience

I live the hotel as it is in the heart of a great market. The clothes that we bought were cheap compared to other places but the only catch is that we need to buy at least 3 items. I guess that's bcos the market is a wholesale market. We do not need to buy 3 of the same items and that is a bonus.
Shopping Tip: Always use taxi with meter or ur sure to get ripped off

Great location and service.

Close enought to main highlights. Great variety of dining. Good room service menu

when we first arrived we were accidentally given a smoking room when we requested non-smoking. the entire living room stunk of cigarettes. the next morning they were happy to move us to another room on a non-smoking floor without questions. the hot breakfast in the terrace was cold the first morning so we opted for the garden breakfast room and it was much nicer. the made to order omelletes were to die for. all the food was lovely and fresh.i would happily stay here again as it is very reasonably priced.
Shopping Tip: Definitely go to MBK shopping centre for bargains. It doesn't open until 10am so be the first one there and barter as you will be the first sale of the day which is considered lucky.YOu should start at the top as the prices are cheaper and shop around to get the best deals.

Great location and good price for amenities

The food was excellent -both Western and local
7.3
the rooms were a good size for young children but lacked cutlery/crockery. the amenities were excellent - pool, gym, restaurants, function rooms and close to attractions & shopping. staff were friendly and helpful. i would definitely stay here again for the price.
Shopping Tip: jump on the water taxi to mbk and siam square for baht, just to the right of the hotel entrance. great fun, fast and cheap...

Functional and what we expected

Good breakfast, nice pool, helpful staff

Our stay in this hotel was good and from looking at it on the internet was as we expected. We stayed in a Suite in tower B. The room was bright and clean. It was by no means luxurious and we were delighted to have the suite as this was the start of our travels and it gave us a bit of extra room and a chance to get used to a new time zone. The pool was lovely and open late into the evening so we often went for a swim at 9 pm after coming in from a busy day. Food was expensive in comparison to other places in Bangkok to eat but the food was good. It was a good place for us to get our bearings and settle into Thailand. This hotel is near the train station but travel to the main tourist sites such as the Grand Palace is a very decent walk away...about 5k so either be ready to walk or have your negotiation skills for a tuk tuk ready...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Dont be taken in by helpful (and sometimes official looking) locals that tell you the Grand Palace is closed for a ceremony. They advise that you should leave it until afternoon and instead visit some tourist sites that they recommend. Luckily they have a tuk tuk driver on standby to take you to the tourist hotspots!!! As nice as they are and as rude as it may seem to ignore their helpful advice it is all a ploy to get you into thir friends tuk tuk.

Cheap hotel but not nice

The price was good and the rooms were gigantic!
4.3
the hotel is huge, 03 tower 28 floors each, many rooms per floor. there is no concierge ate the hotel and the english speaking is very poor. the location is good but there is a street market around the hotel so it's very busy traffic.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Use Viator for arranging the sightseeings. They are very nice.
