Great location close to beach

Location, decent bed and shower
I really didn't take kindly to the poor attitude of the female member of staff who dealt with my check in. She was arrogant rude and was forgetting that I am a paying guest! Didn't even bother to explain what time breakfast starts/finishes and what floor. The fact that I had multiple bags the common thing for member of staff to ask if I need assistance with my luggage.. But she was obviously not customer service orientated and I asked the bell boy if he cloud assist and he was happy to do so. Away from that the room was ok, big double bed but not the best pillows, decent shower pressure but the toilet was a little to close to the shower and basin so if your a large individual, sitting on the loo won't be comfortable. Only a few blocks from the beach in a really nice and safe area of Rio.

Good hotel at a great price.

Clean rooms, very helpful staff, extensive continental breakfast, great neighborhood.
My girlfriend and I stayed there for 4 nights and loved it. Room was small but more than adequate for us, besides we only needed it for sleep and showering. Area of Leblon is very safe and has lots of great places to eat (even for a vegetarian such as myself). Highly recommend the all day city tour and the hang gliding if you have the chance and money. Great continental breakfast. Best we had on all of our South American trip.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Leblon beach is a safe 2 block walk away.
