nice view at night
Toilet very noisy when you flush. Plumbing is old I was told. Breakfast was good and the SM Mall 5 minutes by taxi. Hotel price a little high, but you you pay for the view and location

Over the top
We have allways enjoyed our stay there, but the hotel is getting old. It needs a complete renovation. The changed the aircon in the room, but the curtains couden't be opened anymore. There was a big cockroach under the bed and the room was not very clean.

CDO Trip
My first time in CDO was really exciting... Though it's an older hotel, the staff went out there way to make sure I'd be back... AAn I will in May...

Average, older style hotel
1) room area space; 2) promo room rate; 3) staff
This hotel is old. All room furniture and fixings are not modernized. The door is still key-lock as opposed to more modern hotels with card-key. Bathroom worked fine. Soap, shampoo/conditioner sachets, bubble bath, shower caps, and a face towel as well as other towels, were supplied. Lights are mostly controlled by one switch at the door. There were two single beds in the standard room. Room service tended to be a little on the high side. I ordered some hot tea which came already made (tea bag in the pot) and that was about PhP150. Also, I ordered chicken arroz caldo, which outside would have just been 50P or so, but here cost more than 300P! I was shocked at how much that was. There was no electric kettle with tea or coffee provided in the room. The staff were mostly friendly, helpful and courteous, caring- as expected. The breakfast consisted of fresh fruits (papaya, pineapple, and watermelon), pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, garlic rice, and three types of meat (alternated daily), and an assortment of different pastries, fresh fruit juice, tea, coffee. Guests receive their breakfast coupons at the front desk before going to breakfast. The pool looked inviting and was, on occasion, used by other guests. The first 1-2 nights in my room, I was bitten by mosquitos excessively. Later in the week, again I was bitten during the night, this time on my face. I asked the staff to please have my room sprayed. The last two nights were bite-free. Overall, I was satisfied. I feel there are improvements that could be made to modernize the hotel and make it more competitive with newer places more centrally located. The view of the city is one-of-a-kind. But the premises could use a good facelift.

Great place to stay
Friendly staff
Great place to relax. However, city proper and other establishment are too far to walk.

Great Hotel in CDO
This is far from downtown Cagayan De Oro City. But such a nice hotel. So despite the distance, this is where we stay when we need to be in CDO. The rooms are nice and the food is great! Thank you always for the good service.
