Historic Amsterdam on your doorstep

Location, great staff, own private tour boat
This hotel has been converted from several old town houses in a sensitive and appropriate way. Rooms vary greatly in size and outlook, ours was huge but with a (pleasant) view of an interior courtyard. Rooms at the front and rear are smaller but overlook a canal. There is a delightful courtyard bar and dining area, although the interior bar is limited in size. The formal dining room is very pleasant and the food good - but prices are extremely high. The hotel has its own historic canal launch for residents' use, with an excellent and informed commentary. Service is excellent and the concierge service first class. A lovely place to stay in the city centre.

A very comfortable sleep.

Amazing bed, bathroom and location.
It was unfortunate that we experienced an electricity trip during our stay. So we were in the dark for a moment and electricity was briefly restored.
