My Not so Pleasant Stay in Pura Vida

It is located near the major thoroughfare - easy access to public transportation; floor of the room is wood - no carpet

Not that much Excellent

view, friendly staff, comfy bed
It was ok,since we were just looking for a place to stay overnight. But then It was kind a awkward that we are sharing terrace with another client of the hotel. We weren't able to maximize the terrace, and the kids at the other room we're noisy. The staffs are friendly and the view from the terrace is fine. The cabinet is kind a look like a coffin and scares me. Then there is a glass window in the bathroom, which shocks me, I am afraid that I might see someone there.

value for money was not achieved

hotel staff allowed early check in, clean bed sheets/towels,
our stay was just pleasant and not worth recommending, my room was upgraded to a villa and paid P12k , there was no welcome drinks or free breakfast even for two person only, so value for money was not met.

Had a serene stay

Service, view, accessibility
A perfect place to relax. My husband and I enjoyed the ambience. It was a great anniversary celebration. Given a chance to stay again in the area, I will still choose Pura Vida to stay.

They have new 10 nice rooms. The 3 big town house type, can accommodate up to 15 pax/Villa. The 4th floor function room around 120 square meter area, located a BREATH TAKING overlooking view of Taal Volcano, Lust forest of Batangas and garden with kiddy swimming pool. Ideal for Seminars and parties, you have a real feel of Tagaytay coolness weather. under staff but attentive, WI-FI need more strength, Need ramp for disabled/older guest. Generally, highly recommended for family or group tour. Place is too compact that can be easily rented the whole hole by a small group of 80 persons.

Hotels with many problems

helpful staff
The hotel had no safe/deposit box in the room, but nothing was lost. There was a problem with the air condition, during my stay it kept dripping water. There was no view of the Taal Lake. The tap was faulty and it was leaking water. I had to ask for face towel/floor tower/tower when i checked in (I thought it should there when i checked-in). It says here there is wifi in rooms, but there is wifi only at the lobby (got tricked).

Nice location but unhygenic room.

breakfast, Friendly customer service.
It is a rather nice hotel, the blanket is not clean and the towels too. Other than that I enjoy the stay because of the helpful staff and good customer service.
