Great for a Surf Trip
Great for a surf trip if you are looking for beach access, a comfy bed to sleep, a chill vibe and friendly staff!

Great l cation but seriously over priced
The staff were friendly and good location in terms of proximity to the beach.
When i booked through the agoda site ibwas offered an upgrade which I selected - when i arrived my supposed upgrade was a room without its own bathroom. Thisnis an absolute rip off. The manager gave me a different room. My room was filthy. The sheets were dirty, but the staff were very accommodating when I asked for clean sheets. The towels were all dirty and stained. The shower leaked. The toilet ran all night like a fountain. There was no bedside light so I had to walk across the room to turn it off, which is fine in a one star hotel, but considering what i was paying this is not hood enough. The breakfast was terrible - stodgy pancake, a few pieces of fruit in a plastic bowl and terrible coffee. Definitely the worst place, and most expensive I stayed in while in Bali. I won't be returning!

Uluwatu annial trip
location, staff, facility's
This is the second year I have taken my (2) older sons there. If you want a place that is 5 minutes walk to world class surf, dining, and shopping, while having a peaceful stay, this is the place for you. The rooms are very large, pool is great. From the owner Steve ( originally from US), to the great staff, we would not stay any where else.

A shangrila at the end of the island
Seclusion, Room service and access to the beach
Excellent. Making plans to return next year with my entire family. This resort is not for the gaudy, and the seekers of big chain hotels. But if you are looking for a well run small secluded location away from the beaten path, this is for you. The management was very helpful and by all accounts were pleasant and responsive. I would recommend this place to my friends in a heartbeat. The best for the money by us.

Quiet place for isolating
Room view aircondition
The room is big but nothing inside. No tv, bath tub, table lamp, table. Is too empty inside (no decoration). Is a good place for running away from the busy life. But make sure you buy something to cook/eat. Not much option around that area and all activities end around 6pm. Breakfast potion is small. So make sure u rent a scooter and go around the place to find extra food. Everything in this area are more expensive

Not as expected. Tired, dark and at times noisy.
Great location, with it's own path to the Uluwatu walk way and cave.
Reception not attended on arrival. Very informal welcome. The room was very dark. The wifi was intermittent and very slow (don't rely on it for business). The air conditioning system leaked onto the bed pillows. The shower was luke warm at best and did not drain but for an hour of gravity via the dark hole used for a drainage system (floods after 5 minutes). There were cracks in the walls where bugs could enter. No security on site. No room safe as advertised. No room service or daily room cleaning unless you find someone to request it. Significant lack of service in the restaurant. Partial ocean view requires some searching before you can get the right angle. Rooms are locked with a padlock. The thing that seems to be capitalised on is the path to Uluwatu cave. It's a nice path and it does lead you to the walkway, warungs, shops and the cave. I witnessed one person arrive and leave immediately to another hotel, probably should have done the same thing. :/
