Two night stay...one night was good

location, cleanliness, staff
Overall the hotel was pretty good. I hate to write a bad review on one bad night, but while on my two night stay the second night the hotel had arranged to shut down all the power in the building to do some kind of upgrade. When I got to the hotel the second night I was really hot and tired from walking all day and I couldn't turn on the air, take a warm shower, charge my phone or laptop, watch tv or even turn on the lights. Not a good way to spend a night right before an early flight out. It would have been nice to know about this before I booked the hotel so for them to charge the same amount for this without letting me know didn't leave me with a good impression.

Worst stay ever
Our stay was truly a horrible experience.I had booked 3 rooms for my family. When we first checked in on Thursday, we were not informed that there was going to be a power supply cut maintenance the next day. Only when I was leaving on Friday to walk around then we noticed a notice stating that the power cut was scheduled to start at 2300hrs and would end at 0700hrs. Concerned, i asked the counter staff regarding the power cut and we were informed that the timeframe was very short and that it would end in 15 mins. We came back at 0200hrs to find that the hotel power was cut, the 2 main lifts were down, the room lights & air conditioning were switched off. Everything was down except for the service lift. The night duty officer & the counter staff were the only hotel staff manning the counter. All they could say was that the power would be switched on about 8am and there was nothing they could do. They were clueless and did not know how to answer the questions bombarded from angry customers who were apparently given the same answer that the power cut time frame was short. The rooms truly felt as if they were a sauna and there were no signs that the lifts were out of order. I could only imagine the horror if there was a fire and the occupants had no idea where the service lift was. I asked my families to pack their bags and only after much prompting to the duty officer were we given a transport to ferry us to the nearest hotel and we got our refund back. I felt as if I was the one who was working as I had to teach the duty officer what to do as he truly did not know what to do even though the staff claimed that this happens every year. Should't the hotel close down for just that one day instead of taking the customers money and expecting them to stay in the horrible and dangerous conditions?

Old Hotel. Doesn't Fit to be 4 star
The car park was dark and is sharing with other office tower. No lift to Car park but staircase. The hotel is old enough and the mattress is old. The Bathroom is not clean (yellowish at bathtub) and stain on toilet bowl. Terrible experience. Do not book this. They're overrated and overpriced.
