Good Location

near the airport and good for plane spotters
We were only informed last minute whereby the hotel is under renovation prior to our arrival date in Bangkok. We were then relocated to stay at the nearby Phoenix Hotel. The location is good where they offer free shuttle to the airport or to the Lat Krabang ARL train station.

quick nights sleep

reliable, efficient, adequate
I continue to favor Queens Garden over the many new choices because they have reliably performed over the past 4 years and I see no reason to expect their service to slacken. It is very adequate for an overnight stay and their pick up and delivery is reliable and prompt. Will continue to use them in the future.

Great hotel for an overnight stay between flights

It is near the airport
the van trip from the airport to the hotel gets off of the beaten path and can seem unnerving the first time you do it. that is because the drivers know back ways between the airport and the hotel that avoids all of the traffic. it really is safe even if it looks like they aren't staying on the main roads.

Easy access from airport

There was free transportation service from Suvanabhumi airport every one hour.
Staffs in the reception was very kind and helpful. On my way coming back to the airport I used Taxi, because the flight was very early.

Simple, clean & comfortable hotel

Comfortable bed, working air-con and a cosy duvet
Having booked the hotel rooms for ourselves and my parents, I noticed the wide range of reviews for the hotel, and began to worry about what would meet us when we arrived. We didn't request any airport pickup, and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived in the evening, to a welcoming smile from the lady at reception, and 2 or 3 young men willing to carry any luggage up to the rooms. The rooms were simple, but comfortable and clean. The shower was nice & hot, there was complimentary drinking water and snacks, available to purchase. One reviewer complained about noise from planes overhead, but this was no more than to be expected from a near-the-airport hotel. A trip to the airport by car took about 30 mins - in the early hours of the morning, so '5 minutes from the airport' is a little ambitious. It is good to be aware that the hotel shuttle-bus is only free in one direction. Otherwise the charge is 150 Baht. I wouldn't describe Queen's Gardens Resort as a resort, but for an overnight stay convenient to the airport, I would recommend it and use it again. The grounds consist of the carpark with a few pretty benches, but there are huge fish in the river which children (and tourists alike!) would enjoy feeding! Breakfast wasn't included in the price, which may give other places an advantage. Women on their own might not feel safe walking to the hotel at night, but since we live in Thailand, we are quite used to walking down dimly-lit 'allys' and we were very happy with the basic street-side restaurants nearby- but I would recommend asking for not spicy (Mai Phet)! If luxury is what you're looking for- try somewhere else, and be willing to pay more for it. If comfort, low cost and convenience to the airport are your priorities, I recommend Queen's Garden at Riverview. Also: If you make a mistake in booking with Agoda (as I did, twice) E-mail directly, and ask for their assistance. I was very impressed by their help -as was my cred
