Phnom Penh; a regular stop for me

Location; cleanliness; lounge/pool on top floor
I very much like this hotel. It's usually great value for the money. Close to many, many restaurants with terrific food, so I usually pass on the hotel's breakfast.

Queen wood hotel

Hotel was nice however room & bed was ridden with bugs. Very noisy at night.

Great quality-price ratio

location, value for money, restaurant at roof
Location of the hotel is great. It's located nearby the river and some tourist attractions. Also lot of restaurants and night life around it. Room had everything I needed for few days and it was clean. Breakfast was ok and enough to start the day. View at the roof gives you a nice overall picture of the city. Only bad thing I can come up with was the Wifi. It didn't work most of the time at my floor so I had to go to lobby to use internet. Even there it was sometimes broken. Otherwise a great stay and I would probably stay here again.

Good location
There's cheap... And then there's sub standard. Leaking shower, faulty basin, off fruit at breakfast. Location near perfect.. that's about all it has going for it

Overall great hotel, excellent location, poor room

Location, restaurants, Facilities
This was my 5th stay at the Queen Wood Hotel. I really like the property for facilities and location for quick access to many places. Their roof top restaurant, bar and pool is a great asset. The breakfast served with the room is superior to many others but they don't seem to replenish it when things run low, so get there early. Overall it is a great hotel but the guest rooms are it's downfall. They are in bad need of refurbishing. Otherwise Yes I would stay there again.

Breakfast included but have to pay additional.

Location only
Not happy, not satisfied, not coming again. We booked a queen size bedroom but they serve breakfast only for one pax, we need to pay additional $5 USD for another person. Unfriendly staffs, suck.

Budget accomodation. A bed off the street.

Rooms were clean though aged and linen not regularly bleached. The hotel has a lift. Rooftop pool is ok.
If you have the mindset of budget accomodation then it is a fair Hotel. It's not for people who are picky about detail. Air con is cold, room was clean. Water pressure was good, (be careful using the bum gun 😄 ). Linen was washed but stained. I stayed on the 7th floor under the rooftop bar. Standard travellers songs blared until 3am one morning, 2 to 2.30am other mornings. Pool balls also constantly being dropped on the cement reverberating through the block. Cleaners are very active from 7am, like a 7am alarm really with toilet brushes being smashed around porcelain bowls frantically. Breakfast was ok. Hit and miss with some serving staff. Some constantly glued to there phones watching Kmher drama, piled up plates, milk run out, juice run out and still watching their phone. Tablecloths were a disgrace, (even for a budget accom.). The week I stayed they were never changed and looked like they hadn't been for some weeks. Absolutely putrid. Not hard to wash and even bleach. Dining and reception areas could do with a good hygiene/spring clean. All in all, ok but as others have written there is better places.

4 night stay in Phnom Penh

The hotel is located very close to most places the food is good and the staff are very polite and helpful.
I stayed here 18 months ago and hotel has become very run down since then the beds are to hard and there is not enough maintenance being done, loose tiles sun beds are old broken paint needs redoing.
