Get exactly what you pay for.

Location. Cleanliness. Cost.
Reading some of the reviews, i arrived with some trepidation. However, i need not have worried. The hotel is situated in a pleasant leafy, suburban street; which i found without any problem, and less than ten minutes walk from Kentish Town underground. The staff were pleasant, and the room (equipped with television, kettle/tea/coffee and hand basin) was airy and spotlessly clean. I booked a basic single room, and that is exactly what i got - so no problem there. The bed was very comfortable, with fresh, soft linen. I enjoyed a very peaceful night's sleep. I had a shared toilet; this was also spotless. What has to be remembered is that this is very much a budget hotel; everything is basic, but it is clean and comfortable - you get what you pay for. I enjoyed my stay there and will have no hesitation returning if i am ever in that part of London again.

Another budget hotel without proper internet

Breajfast is above average, staff are friendly and the location is excellent.
A nasty surprise: Stayed here before and had by coincidence a room that was close enough to reception to have working wifi. This time my room was further away and wifi reception was non-existent, so instead of doing urgent online work at the hotel I had to do it at my workplace losing valuable time. It's totally unacceptable that hotels in London in 2015 are not capable of providing a working internet.

It is different from most feedbacks I read

Breakfast, comfort and cleanliness
My stay was good. Good because the room is clean, the bed is comfortable, staff are proactive, breakfast is too much of a serving for me. Location isn't 5 minute walk though but around 10-12 minutes to my fastest. The toilet is cleaned properly and I had a good sleep in my bed. My room was quite big actually. All were quite good EXCEPT for internet. You don't expect guests to go up at the reception area always when they need to connect to wifi. There's an intermittent connection specially at the basement rooms. I don't have complaints about the room. Not the same as I read from Others that it has bugs, crumby bed and not cleaned properly. Mine was. Well only complaint is wifi. Hope they get to add wifi or adjust the location of it. All in all. Good.

good for budget in London and easy to go anywhere

save money, good breakfast, good location
The hotel is in the area of no noice, not busy but easy to get to anywhere in London. The breakfast was fantastic and service was quick. We just stayed in basic double room not very good but the rate was low.

Budget Hotel

Budget Hotel
The room is dirty, aged, small toilet. It's budget hotel so you can't set high expectation. I stayed 4 different hotels in UK, this is the worst. On the night we stay, me and my 5yr old child scratch our hands and legs due to the dust. The bed and carpet look so aged. My pillow even have beer smell. No shampoo in the bath room. Google map told me it takes 2 minute to arrive by walking distance from Tufnell Park underground tube, in fact it took me 4 min walk. Dont book this hotel with young child cause your child would be tired walking.

quite easy to get buses and trains, quiet, unique
Would prefer if they provide porter service to lug our bags up to the third floor! Room was comfortable and hotel is accessible to trains and buses (but with 5 to 10 mins walking in quiet surroundings)
