hotel to avoid, unless you prefer "no service"

Room and bathroom of good size, but service is below acceptable, even for Egypt. Some examples: - Used towel, wet and dirty, left in the bath. But don't be surprised when housekeeping puts the same dirty towel, arranged as a bird or flower, back on your bed. - out of toilet paper? Don't be surprised if housekeeping does not supply new paper. Ask at reception: get a smile but no paper; ask again: once more a smile but nothing else. - breakfast is called a buffet, but this only means you can collect 3 things: 1) a plate on which some butter, cheese, marmalade and slices of melon have already been prearranged, 2) breadrolls and 3) a drink (watery juice or coffee which was lukewarm or less and tasted like wet paper) - breakfast starts at 6 AM, but when we entered the breakfast room at 6.55 AM we were asked to wait for "two minutes" (= a quarter of an hour); when breakfast was finally "ready" all the breadrolls were still deep frozen, and there was no coffee or juice. And I could continue. All together: never again in this hotel. I have travelled many times in Egypt and dealt with the strangest hotels, and I am not a difficult person complaining about everything. After all this is Egypt, and one should enjoy it, inclusing things that do not go right. But this hotel beats everything, sorry to say.

Travel tip: Zentral gelegen, sehr laut

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
